@Laganish I really enjoyed a lot of what Midnight did narratively, especially with Arator and Turalyon... but I think WoW by its basic structure just isn't built to let it linger in the smaller moments, in the way something like FFXIV can.

They'rs too worried the player might get bored.

The tech as it exists isn't capable of scaling to that level. And even if it was, investors are already tired and largely done with the manufactured hype grift.

It's not elitist to say you're burnt out from playing too much. That's the exact opposite of elitist. It's telling you that you need a break from the game.

That shows a very very excessive amount of engagement, far beyond the speed they could ever release content. You're burnt out.
