The DC metro area chapter of TNSA. An organization of trans and non-binary socialists, anarchists, and anti-capitalists organizing and fighting for equality.
We're working to get a group of Indigenous people from the Baja California, California, & Arizona together to help teach our winter home making skills using the plants native to the area. Long term housing will be needed & our home building technologies will help provide shelter.

The AK Press collective members in Chico are safe but as the smoke clears we'll be supporting ongoing relief efforts and will share information about how you can help beyond the traditional top-down relief models. We appreciate your support, understanding, and patience.
If you're wondering why you haven't heard much from us over the last few days... The AK Press warehouse is located in Chico, CA very near the Camp Fire that has been raging in Northern California. The fire has been devastating to everyone in our area.
Considering a gun lock clinic where we distribute trigger locks at no charge to the general public.
Trigger locks are a great way of partially securing a firearm for those who can't afford a gun safe. They can prevent children from firing the gun, potentially saving lives.

Oh shit! That IS him!!
Someone who would like to remain anonymous just sent me this message and picture of herself that was posted by a classmate.
Seriously, what is going on with this school? @BarabooSD
I am being flooded with messages from students of this school about some of the guys in the group photo.
It sounds like there is a lot of racist bullying and the school tends to do nothing about it.
Correction: The photo of students doing salutes is the Class of 2019, not 2018, and was taken during their junior prom.
Here is a higher resolution photo (which was apparently taken by one of the parents, and is on the parent's website as part of their collective prom photos.)
