This past Tuesday we celebrated the rain at West Hollywood Toastmasters! We should be back to Monday night meetings next month, but for now come visit us on March 21 7PM at Plummer Park Community Center.

Last Monday, Toastmaster Brianna Ancel's theme, "Juneteenth" and Rick Willett's prepared speech, "Say the Right Thing: How to Talk About Identity, Diversity, and Justiceβ gave a happy juxtaposition of the contribution and struggle of minority groups in our culture.
Award season never ends at West Hollywood Toastmasters. At least not with Toastmaster Rick Willett in charge. On 6/13, he helped us salute the Tony Awards, which had been presented the night before in New York. Our next meeting is on 6/20 at 7pm. All are welcome!
On 6/6, we were all about the rainbow as Toastmaster John Brainard took us through a nostalgic Prezi look back at the history of Pride celebrations in Los Angeles and a real-time celebration of Pride today. All guests are welcome to join our next meeting on 6/13 at 7pm!
On 5/23, "Here's looking at you, kid." We found out what the Top 10 Movie Quotes of all time were according to the American Film Institute and played a guessing game with other movie dialogue as Toastmaster Rick Willett took us through the theme of "Famous Movie Dialogue."
Trees inspired both Toastmaster Garad Copstead and Nicholas Echeverry at Monday's meeting. Plus Dao and Lana provided great prepared speeches to advance them (and the club) toward our Pathways goals. All guests are welcome to join our next meeting on 5/23 at 7pm!
