It is that time of year when @TOCemeteryTours teams up with Mount Pleasant Group to tour our beautiful home at The Necropolis! Now where did I put that red carpet?
“Arlington National Cemetery has scrubbed from its website information and educational materials about the history of black and female service members” is the most shameful, disgraceful, dangerous thing I’ve read in the last 24 hours. #impeachtrumpvance

On Sept 14, Mount Pleasant Cemetery hosted the Fall History Walk with historian Chantal Morris of @tocemeterytours. Over 350 attendees enjoyed a beautiful day of storytelling, learning about figures like Walt Grealis & Trixie Worsley. Thanks to the team for making it a success!
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank our favourite #TorontoHistorian, Chantal Morris, for the fun & informative tour of the beautiful 174-year-old Toronto Necropolis Cemetery that took place on June 8.

MPG hosted its Annual History Tour with Historian Chantal Morris this past Saturday.
We wanted to give Chantal (@tocemeterytours) a HUGE shout-out for her amazing effort. Your extensive research in preserving the history of our community is greatly appreciated. 💙🕊️
A real photo postcard view of King City Cemetery, Ontario, circa 1910.
The most interesting part of the image for me, and something I'm sure @Graveyard_arch and @ReporterWarren will appreciate, is the view of the 1887 octagonal deadhouse in the top left corner. #cemeteries
There are strange stories hidden among the gravestones of Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Tomorrow, we'll head out in search of them...
It'll be Day Six of The Festival of Bizarre Toronto History — with @TOCemeteryTours!
Love this 1919 picture postcard of Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto from the air.
