Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday. We are committed to continuing to working with government partners to:
✔️Reduce investment barriers holding back $2.5B+
✔️Invest in enabling energy & infrastructure
Ontario #greenhouse growers stand ready to support a strong, durable renewed CUSMA. Our sector moves over $2.5B annually across the border, providing for American consumers and supporting cross-border economic prosperity. Canada’s negotiators have our full support. 🍅 💐🥒 🍁
Ontario’s greenhouse flower and vegetable growers play a vital role in the strength and resilience of our province’s agri-food sector by ensuring a stable supply of fresh products, creating jobs, and supporting local economies.
Thank you to The Ontario Greenhouse Alliance for investing your time with us yesterday at Queen’s Park.
Great meeting with members of The Ontario Greenhouse Alliance to discuss the important role Ontario’s Greenhouse sector plays in supporting food security, innovation, sustainability, and jobs across the province.
#TOGA#Greenhouse#Ontario#QueensPark
And of course,
✔️Champion agri-food alongside autos & advanced manufacturing, including at the CUSMA table
Grateful for all the conversations. The work continues.

Ontario’s greenhouses are foundational to our agriculture sector - producing a massive portion of Canada’s fruits, flowers, and vegetables 🍎🥦🌻
Met with @TOGAlliance this morning to share details about how we’re delivering the energy infrastructure needed to keep energy rates affordable and reliable - helping these great industries continue to put food on tables across Ontario.
Today at QP our message is clear: the #greenhouse sector doesn’t need to be discovered. It needs to be recognized as the asset it already is. Meeting with Ministers, MPP’s and their staff, across all parties, to advance priorities for the sectors future. @TrevorJonesCKL#ontpoli
Tomorrow we’ll be at Queen’s Park & the timing is critical. The #greenhouse sector keeps investing, hiring, and growing – a counter-cyclical anchor for the economy. But trade uncertainty has real costs. Agri-food must prioritized at the #CUSMA table. @VictorFedeli@TrevorJonesCKL
We’re looking forward to our Queen’s Park Day on May 12. #Greenhouse sector includes 42,000 jobs across the value chain; the largest controlled environment, agriculture cluster in North America, & a $2.5-5B investment pipeline ready to deploy. @TrevorJonesCKL@fordnation#onpoli
Exempting farmland from municipal stormwater fees supports farm competitiveness for our growers and ensures the sector continues to grow and invest in Ontario. Thank you to the Ontario government,@RobFlackEML, and @TrevorJonesCKL!

Ontario's greenhouse sector isn't a niche agricultural story. It's a trade resilience story. An advanced manufacturing story. A food and agricutlure security story.
Time to tell it that way.
Ontario's #greenhouse sector is a rare economic bright spot continuing to invest and grow in the face of U.S. tariffs and global uncertainty. That resilience reflects both sector strength and the value of good government partnership. #GoodThingsGrow
Thank you to everyone from The Ontario Greenhouse Alliance who took the time to meet with us at Queen's Park yesterday and for the great work you do on behalf of your members year-round.🌸🫑
Productive discussions yesterday with The Ontario Greenhouse Alliance on how our greenhouse sector continues to be a true partner for prosperity and stability — even in times of global economic uncertainty.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Queen’s Park yesterday where we discussed how our committed and growing sector, through continued collaboration with government partners, can ensure that Ontario grows stronger, more resilient, and prosperous. @FCOGrowers@ONgreenhouseVeg
The Ontario Greenhouse Alliance represents more than two thirds of Canada’s greenhouse production, employing over 38,000 vegetable & flower growers across Ontario 🥬💐
Thank you @TOGAlliance for your continued advocacy on behalf of our thriving greenhouse sector and remaining a fantastic partner as we continue to build a more efficient and sustainable Ontario 🌱
#TOGA #QueensPark
Fantastic meeting with the Ontario Green House Alliance (TOGA) leaders today to discuss opportunities and challenges facing greenhouse growers.
I look forward to building on these conversations as we continue working together to support a strong, resilient greenhouse industry.
I met with members of the Ontario Greenhouse Alliance who were at Queen’s Park for their annual poinsettia reception.
With nearly 1,700 farms employing more than 38,000 people across Ontario, greenhouse growers are key to food security and sustainable prosperity.
Busy day at Queen’s Park — great to meet with the Ontario Greenhouse Alliance (TOGA) and Ontario Realtors.
@TOGAlliance continues to play a vital role in supporting Ontario’s greenhouse and floriculture sectors, strengthening our agri-food economy and supporting jobs across the province.
I also had a productive conversation with local Realtors about housing, growth, and the needs of communities across Ontario. Working together, we can help ensure families have access to the homes and opportunities they deserve.
This resilience highlights our sector’s strategic importance as both a short-term economic stabilizer and a long-term growth engine for the province. #ProtectingOntarioTogether
At Queen’s Park today, we’ll be reminding MPPs that despite escalating U.S. trade tariffs and global
market uncertainty, Ontario’s greenhouse sector remains a bright spot; continuing to invest, expand, and create jobs. #economicprosperity
