How to create a strong LinkedIn profile picture using AI, completely free.

I see a lot of people trying to generate an AI profile photo, but they end up with a result that doesn’t look great..

In practice, the difference is almost always in the prompt, and we “dress” that prompt on the best generation model for this exact situation. In our case, as of this month (March 2026), Nano Banana 2 (formerly Nano Banana Pro) is the strongest model.

So here are 4 prompts that work amazingly for professional profile photos that communicate business and are optimized for LinkedIn:

Prompt #1 Classic Corporate

Prompt #2 Creative Professional

Small tip:

Always use your original photo as a reference to preserve facial identity. Recommended: no glasses, a very close-up photo of your face, as little of your body as possible, mainly a face selfie.
Try to make sure it’s high enough quality.

I recommend sending each prompt with your reference in a new chat, so it won’t get confused and start editing the previous one or mix styles from the earlier prompt.
