@Dannysapio The font used for Pricing don't standout as much as the product title does, limited stock should have a feel of urgency to it. As a designer, you should also think from a user experience and business stand point, design for every category of users including color blinded ones.
We scaled to $2M ARR- got stuck for 5 months- and then pushed to $3M ARR.
Below are the reasons I feel we got stuck:
1. We hired too late
As you scale, teams become inundated with all of the new tasks that you really have to keep a pulse on the next 6-12 months of hires. It hurts to be reactionary here. Always have a forecast on who comes next.
2. 10% marketing budget
When revenue increased, we kept marketing budget very flat. I'm a firm believer that 10% of net revenue should be applied to marketing at the very least. This way, you can continue to scale a snowball of closed clients.
3. Partnerships can 2x efforts
While I don't think partnerships should be top priority getting to your first million in revenue, it becomes paramount later down the line. We've built partnerships with the likes of Fiat Ventures and Warmly, that have helped continue to mutually push the boundaries of current acquisition efforts. Big thanks to ๐ maximus greenwald and Tutt Mrasek for these amazing partnerships.
4. Diluted growth pillars
Rather than attempt to unlock 10+ different growth channels (i.e., video content, blog content) it would have been better for us to go 200% on a few channels. Looking back, I would not have diluted our efforts among too many channels where we only were able to give 20% efforts with such a lean team into each.
5. Constantly bifurcate responsibilities
Wow... this is a huge one. As you grow, impact for each responsibility for everyone becomes more grand and things break more easily. The tools and structures that worked at 20 clients break at 50 clients break at 70 clients break at.... Looking forward, I'm always making sure that the team is at the right balance with their workload as the startup scales.

Live your discipline as an internal manifestation, not as an external imposition. -๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
Ps- Thanks to Alejandro Souza, who authored posts that inspire me.
A thread---
๐ข There is no success without discipline..
The problem is that we have always experienced discipline as an external imposition from our parents, bosses, teachers, or any other authority figure, which often came with scolding or punishment.
๐ Now, discipline excites me because it is where all my passion flows.
Today, i see discipline to as a tool for excellence and an empowering force, not as a tool for survival or as a limiting prison.
Here are a few strategies for making money as an African freelance digital product designer in #2023:
1. Build a strong portfolio: Showcase your best work on a website or online portfolio, and ensure that it is easy for potential clients to find and view.
7. Diversify your income streams: Look for opportunities to make money in different ways, like licensing your designs, or creating your own products to sell.
