That's All Folks! Today, April 6, was closing day for grooming operations on the Priest and Trout Nordic trails near Telluride, Colorado. Still lots of snow but grooming ends when the ski resort closes each year. Crust skiing will be good up at Lizard Head Pass soon! - Rollo
Priest Lake and Trout Lake Nordic trails were all groomed this morning for skate and classic. Excellent end of season ski conditions. Tomorrow, Sunday, April 6 is final day of groomed trails. Get out there one more day!
<1" of new snow so far out of the storm that was supposed to produce more than a foot. >10" of new snow needed, on the ground, before we can think of reopening Valley Floor Nordic trails. Otherwise, probably the end of the season. Keep your fingers crossed.

Very little of the Telluride Valley Floor Nordic trails look like this, in the shade, section of railroad grade. Most rebuilt base after the storm is one to three inches deep and won't survive without new snowfall.
