A quirky collection made by a photographer in a peculiar occupation as a 'collision expert'.

By photographing ceremonies you are very likely documenting a disappearing reality given today's instant world.
@Erfan_Samanfar made a solid series of photos on Nowruz Sayyad in Southern Iran, when fishermen celebrate a new fishery year.

@robisonfoto aye thanks for the supplementary input, was restricted by the tweet word count.
Will stay tuned for this project as it unfolds further, as it is a great example of what doc photographers might aspire towards :)
Photography is not activism, but photographing without cause is like writing without a story.
@robisonfoto 's project came about as he gifted injured veterans, physical or mental, cameras as a means of stress relief.
His results are inspiring.

@alistairkeddie 's collection is a lyrical portrait of his daily commute in Auckland shot in the past 2 years.
Photography is an exercise - an eye muscle exercise.
And shooting during your commute is one good way of training them.

Personally I really enjoy documentary photo stories on how the human spirit interacts with man-made structures.
Buildings don't come to life when they are built; they do when someone lives in them.

@RoldonRaw It depends on who you want your audience to be. Since photography went digital, this is an issue photographers have been struggling with.
How I see it is that if you are seeking an audience who appreciates long-form stories, stay in that lane and wait for this group to find you.
@RoldonRaw I am speaking from the point of view as a documentary photographer who also happens to be into nfts, so I am used to consuming content of that length.
Though it might be also a good idea to consult photographers in other disciplines :)
I see few photographers an no documentary photography in the #nft@hicetnunc2000 world.
Am I one of the first, or is there anybody out there breaking the ice?

NFTs are NOT too good to be true. It is a ton of hard work.
Some choose to sugarcoat it, but that happens also in traditional art spaces anyway.
Scams exist only to the extent collectors allow them to. It has nothing to do with the technology itself.
