I kept my passes from KQ flights 202 and 203 to and fro Mumbai on 15/16 October 2025. I couldn’t tell you what the toughest part of the day was, receiving the news in the morning or taking that flight to Mumbai. But I digress. I want to say Ahsante sana to some key people who made everything possible in very difficult circumstances.
1. The Indian High Commission in Nairobi and the Indian Government. I don’t know how many rules of international travel were bent to make that flight happen. Ahsante sana.
2. @KenyaAirways management and the flight crew led by Capt. Saviemaria Ondego. Absolute class. Bwana on the way back we thought our tears had dried then she hit us with that call change to RAO001 when we entered our airspace. Wacha tu. God bless.
3. The regular passengers on those two flights. Many were bumped off. Heavy seat changes to accommodate the delegation. Long delays especially on flight 202. Many had no idea what was happening until we were airbone and the captain made the announcement. Apologies for the inconveniences on that day, but you were very gracious. God bless.
4. The @kdfinfo . Bwana for the honor extended to Baba, we his people will forever be grateful. Salute🫡
Great reflection ma'am @paulinenjoroge. Where would you place @OkiyaOmtatah@dkmaraga and @MarthaKarua ? About @rigathi, I don't mean to downplay his hold on a constituency but does he have 'clean hands' as far as the change we're yearning, is concerned?
Today, I want to share a personal view that I have been reflecting on for the past few weeks, regarding the structure of the emerging opposition coalition.
As the opposition builds a broad and inclusive coalition around the WANTAM movement, it must design a framework that encourages more political parties to join without creating a structure so heavy, that it complicates decision-making and weakens political agility.
Every party in the opposition has earned the legitimate right to participate in shaping the emerging coalition. That participation should be institutionalised through a broad Coalition Parties Council, bringing together the leaders of all constituent parties. This council should be as inclusive and diverse as the opposition itself.
But inclusion does not mean that every party leader must automatically become a principal.
The coalition’s top decision-making organ must remain lean, strategic and capable of responding quickly to political developments. Its membership should be based not merely on ownership of a political party, but on demonstrable national influence and a solid regional support base.
On that basis, I believe the principal-level leadership of the emerging coalition should comprise EDWIN SIFUNA, RIGATHI GACHAGUA, KALONZO MUSYOKA AND FRED MATIANG’I. Each commands a significant political constituency and brings to the table the electoral weight necessary to shape a viable national coalition.
Even within the United Nations system, all member states participate through the General Assembly, but matters requiring urgent and focused action are entrusted to the much leaner 15-Member Security Council. The underlying principle is simple: broad participation provides legitimacy, while a smaller executive structure provides agility.
A successful coalition must achieve both. It must be inclusive enough to accommodate every genuine partner, but disciplined enough to make timely decisions and provide clear political direction. Therefore, the opposition does not need an endless table of principals. It needs an inclusive coalition supported by a lean, credible and effective centre of leadership.
Omwami @edwinsifuna , for the sake of the disillusioned masses, those who are seeking hygiene in politics and proper reset, don't you dare disappoint us owefwe. It's time to drain the swamp. No unholy alliances and don't play second place! That's not our aspiration wandase.
Dear @edwinsifuna
Hit the road to greatness, starting NOW
You can make the best president for Kenya
All past Presidents had serious weaknesses
That you don’t have.
Take a look:
@InteriorKE@NPSOfficial_KE@NPSC_KE how about developing an app download able that the public can use to verify authenticity of your cops the same way we do to verify authenticity and validity of driving licences? What do y'all think? Cc @wandera316@georgediano
Imagine corrupt police officers showing up at your workplace to arrest you after your father hires them to intimidate you for refusing to sign land and business assets. The Gen Z daughter claims her father forged documents to remove her mother from the family assets, but it seems she isn't surrendering her rightful share.
The father is standing there with his sanpanku eyes regretting ever educating his daughter. I love how she's dealing with the alumni of Kiganjo School of Hard Knocks. Askari wanadhani we are still in the Era of intimidation, this new Generation fears no one. Chesaa!!

Dear @edwinsifuna
Wake up and greet history!
You are being anointed by fate to re-engineer Kenya’s destiny.
Do not resist the call,
Do not kill this dream.
My 5 agenda items for you today
Kileleshwa MCA-Robert Alai today stormed a public participation meeting in Kileleshwa and assaulted Kikeleshwa Chief Joyline and Kilimani Chief Catherine who had accompanied her.
The two have been admitted at Nairobi women hospital. One day Robert Alai will meet his match.
Mchezo wa taon. Members of Parliament have proposed relocating Nakuru State House to a different location away from the busy Nakuru–Nairobi highway. They cited security concerns, noting that a multi-storey hotel directly overlooks the presidential residence. Members of Parliament have flagged it as a serious breach of presidential security and zoning protocols.
But here’s the gist: The Encore Hotel is owned by Sam Mburu, who allegedly acts as a proxy for Kasongo. The hotel was constructed last year. In fact, before Kasongo took office, no one was allowed to construct even a two-storey building near State House. But somehow, the government allowed Susan Kihika and her husband to put up a hotel with over ten floors. Statehouse Nakuru is now on sale.
