@KamalPanesar Marty seems to be able to bring the best outta guys so maybe getting him here will change that? Another name would by Byfield from LA. Would fit in nicely with the group as well.
@HommedePaix1 I'll wait for it this summer. I'll give them that chance. I still see too many "cute" players and no one willing to inflict pain. That MUST change asap.
@HommedePaix1 I'm afraid Gorton and Hughes won't know this. Gorton ran the Rangers and never believed in those type of players much. I'm worried the same will happen here. We need to inflict pain and no one does it except Anderson and he's all alone. Time to bring Arber and Florian in.
@KamalPanesar Im sorry but a lot of adjustments are needed to this lineup. No one inflicts pain enough in this lineup. We need WAY more grit to win in the playoffs.
@_JordanDecker If you know how the Habs brass work...they would never give that money for Hischier. This will not and should not happen. We do not need this type of player. We need a bigger guy who will get dirty on the top 6...not a "finesse" type.
@brenmidov Opponent matters. Carolina has played absolutely no one in the playoffs. Their numbers are skewed all year from playing in the worst division as well. These people are all idiots who are saying Carolina is gonna smoke the Habs. Watch out if the Habs win tomorrow!
@travisyost Carolina has played absolutely no one these playoffs. They were in the worst division in hockey, their numbers are skewed because of it and people are not giving the Habs any respect for what they just did in the 1st two rounds. Upset in the making. Habs in 6.
@travisyost You have to understand that when you play Carolina, you will be automatically outshot. Habs don't care about useless shots from anywhere that have low percentage. Let Carolina shoot from anywhere, Dobes is going to get hot quicker that way!
@SushiBet has played absolutely putrid opponents, and Carolina has been in the worst division in hockey all year. Therefore, all numbers are skewed. Habs will light him up just like they did in the regular season. Habs in 6.
@SimonTSN690 I just think a few things. 1. they are not battle tested
2. they played in the worst division so the numbers are skewed. 3....they have no Hutson type and I'm wondering who's going to cover this kid. 4..there are mental scars from years past and if some doubt comes? gonnn be fun!
@Buccigross Go watch the game buddy. "Better" team? Hardly. And last time I checked, a goalie is part of the team isn't he? Poopoo goaltending gets you EXACTLY what Buffalo got, and the Habs missed a bunch of breakaways to top it off as well.
@HommedePaix1 More important than getting it done is coming out with balls and guts. If I'm being honest both close out scenario games(Game7 Tampa and Game6 Buffalo) left me with serious questions about the guys of the team. I wanna see them push no matter what happens.
@The_Creasy I honestly don't care if we lose because I know deep down they've completely surpassed expectations...but the fashion in which they lost makes me question the guts of the team. Luckily they have Game7 to change the narrative...but Game7 Tampa and Game6 Buffalo left me frustrated.
