The willowleaf sunflower is blazing bright this morning! This fall blooming native plant is not only gorgeous, it's an excellent food source for pollinators and songbirds. #NativePlants#FallColors#PollinatorFriendly#pollinators
Wave goodbye to summer! I start switching out summer annuals for fall flowers today. These rusty orange rudbeckias are a sneak preview of what I'm planting this week. #FallFlowers#Fall2022#FallWeather
Monarchs have arrived! I started seeing them on the course two weeks ago, but it's just now that I've gotten one to sit still long enough to take a picture. I'll update with caterpillars and chrysalises as I see them. #MonarchsInTheRough#MonarchButterflies#SustainableGolfCourse
The parking lot redesign is finished! Watch throughout the season as different plants bloom and colors shift. I emphasize native plants in my designs, so you may spot some pollinators at work! #LandscapeDesign#NativePlants#Pollinators#PollinatorFriendly
It's time to swap out spring bulbs for summer blooms! I'm very excited for this season's summer color palette. Look for the new displays to pop up around the club this week. #Summer2022#FabulousFoliage
More bulbs are opening every day! Tulips are starting to take center stage, but the daffodils aren't slowing down, and the hyacinths are still hanging in there.
Act II is opening for the spring bulbs! Crocuses have given way to daffodils at the entrance, and tulips are starting to show above the hyacinths at the clubhouse. I can't wait for #TulipTime!
There may be snow on the ground today, but last week I spotted crocus leaves sprouting near the front entrance. These gold and purple beauties will be our first blooms of the year in late winter or early spring. #JanuarySnowBringsMarchGlow#SpringBulbs#crocuses
