K9 Helio/Air1 searched desert area for a DV suspect. Air1 spotted a heat source in some trees and guided Helio in for the find. Helio’s nose pinpointed the hiding spot & his bark convinced him to surrender. The suspect went to jail for felony charges.

Work was fun last night. I located a Domestic Violence suspect hiding in a shed. Officers got to drag him out and put him cuffs. I’m starting to really enjoy Patrol work. Searching and finding suspects is a blast. I’m new at this so forgot to get my own photo
