National Police Week and I want to take a moment to remember the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. I personally know too many whose names are on this wall. You are not forgotten.

Today the trial of Derek Chauvin begins in Minneapolis. I want to acknowledge the grief and trauma our black community are feeling and the trial will keep the pain alive. My thoughts are with you. #BlackLivesMatter

On Wear Purple for DV Awareness Day, TPD staff including day and swing shift officers wore purple ribbons, masks & shirts to show support for survivors. Kudos to @CityofTigard Library staff & HR (photo below) for participating!
Fire crews alongside our Hazardous Materials Team are responding to a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a propane tank on Greenburg Road in Tigard.
Initial 911 callers indicated the driver self extricated from the vehicle.
Stay clear of area.
