A pounding bassline helped make “Club Foot” the track that introduced Kasabian to a huge audience. Written by Sergio Pizzorno and Chris Karloff, it opened their 2004 self-titled debut album and quickly became their signature live anthem. Its striking video was dedicated to Czech student activist Jan Palach. At Glastonbury in 2009, “Club Foot” remained an explosive festival favourite as Kasabian entered their West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum era.
The Beatles' last live performance was their iconic, unannounced rooftop concert on January 30, 1969, at the Apple Corps headquarters in London, where they played for about 42 minutes before police stopped them.
