My personal booklists are finally ready!
Here's a little explanation of what this Twitter account is for, along with some lists of books I like. I would also like to know what books you like! Take a look: https://t.co/XYcp34Ie3J

@CromartyHeather @torontolibrary *psst* the answer is: 179 - if you wait a while and scroll down in the catalogue record, the # of books on order should show, like:
@pamryan If she wants fun, sweet and fast-moving, but isn't in the mood for *too* much sentiment(?) I'd recommend Maria Semple - Today Will Be Different or Where'd You Go, Bernadette? (Not if there's surgery involved, though - there are laugh-out-loud moments that could hurt.)
Shelve Under: Podcast is back! Season 2 of Toronto Public Library's staff-produced podcast launches with a very meta episode on... podcasting. Listen here: https://t.co/A4zMaPnyfm
At Ryerson's @TransmediaZone with Shelve Under: Podcast's Jason, Christina, @DrEmmyjz and Dr Maggie Reid, listening to the amazing podcasts produced by Podcast Jam participants. #tmztplaudiojam#tmzevents
@maureenailis@TPLMaggie@TPLChristie@TPLBRNDN The public library was important to me as a kid, and I worked my way through uni shelving books. It was my backup income when I was freelancing, and eventually I discovered I could do a lot of the things I like here (writing, web stuff, social media, talking about books).
@kercoby So interesting! Gen X here. Embarrassingly, I use ellipses and I don't even know why. Sometimes it reminds me of how George Herriman uses em-dashes in Krazy Kat cartoons, as a marker of a stream of consciousness? As opposed to a more formal, deliberate way of writing?
