@thekriskay No not a short squeeze. Hedge funds can cover in two days, so that pressure is limited. It rebounds anyway, once the funds that shorted the hell out of it buy back in. I'm bullish ;)
$NBIS definitely. Their TokenFactory is the next big thing. Think about Europe, for example.
No big company is allowed to use the American model providers for internal data. But when Nebius allows them to use their own (maybe even fine-tuned) model with the corporate context, that's the gamechanger.
@HermesLux it will take some time. with each small drop below par, the arb will get smaller every time. People will understand that it goes back to par and buy immediately. So the arb for strategy vanishes
@kimmonismus yes we live in a bubble and think everyone is like us. But in reality almost no one seems to properly understand how to use AI. I see this everyday at work. Everyone is completely lost expect two or three people from 500.
Burry says Fannie and Freddie gave back everything. Check the numbers.
FNMA closed at 4.04 on Friday. That is still about 190 percent above its election close, and about 74 percent below the September 2025 peak. The hype is gone, the election gains are not.
The real story is the cap table. Treasury holds warrants for 79.9 percent of the common, and the liquidation preference was about 381 billion dollars at the end of June. The preferred has no conversion right in its contract, so a conversion is a policy choice, not a trigger. Officials only talk about selling 2.5 to 5 percent, with no date.
So the question is simple. Does your thesis need the conversion, or does the warrant stake already cap the upside for common holders?
