Here's a sneak peek of how I made duels in @capysword provably fair

Each duel is fully resolved on-chain.

Before a duel starts, both players commit to a secret number and sign it using EIP-712.
This locks their input before the outcome exists and prevents any changes afterward.

When the duel resolves, the winner is determined by combining multiple entropy sources:
• both players’ committed secrets
• block.prevrandao (known only once the block is mined)
• previous block hash
• current block number
• gas price
• player addresses and duel ID

After the second player joins, the contract waits one block before resolving.
This ensures block randomness is finalized and avoids last-block manipulation.

All inputs are hashed twice to improve distribution.

On-chain result produces a duel scenario between the two Capybaras.
The blockchain decides the winner and our smart contract transfers the AVAX pot accordingly.

A short visual blur on the $AVAX balance during the fight prevents spoilers before resolution.

Each match will include a verify button, allowing anyone to recompute the randomness and verify the outcome directly from on-chain data.
