I think it’s because we have no clue what we’re doing but neither of us have shared loyalty yet. So we just fight and race for control. One, of all, of us is/are making a big strategic mistake
Keyforge time! It’s great how easy it is to get back into the game after not playing a while. Stays pretty fresh. Forgot how easily the board builds and gets wiped in this game
@Of_Dice_and_Men For a game that focuses so much on the fiction - and that’s its strength to a great degree - that part of it is tired and shallow. Personally, I didn’t like as much the ‘lonely genius’ trope (spent too much time in academia) but at least there it’s woven into a rich story
The thing about #comanauts is that it’s cool to enter a persons mind and fight their inner demons but why did they have to pour over it the heroic layer or saving the world like a special force? It’s kind of sad they felt like they needed it
@Of_Dice_and_Men Is the fact he is in a coma and needed help not enough? I just found it transposed a bunch of Armageddon (the movie) like tropes. We are faceless strangers outside Dr Sobel, there are no characters there and it’s always ‘someone’ who mutters things without personalities
