@PorcDalmatian@NoMad_Peets@luxemiaa Yep. This was never a thing. People talked a bit, read, slept but not in this total zombie darkness. I want to see the lay of the land, esp if we’re going down. Any chance of survival, I want to know where to run to get away from the plane.
@MrPitbull07 Yes, just got a pack last week at CVS. Hadn’t had them in at least a decade.
Taste the same, but I could swear they’re thinner. Like they’ve shaved off a millimeter to save $
@DiaryofaSickGrl My son has Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID), a primary immunodeficiency. He often doesn’t spike a fever w infections. Drs would say call back when he has a fever - we’d be on our way to the ER.
I’m the one w hEDS and maybe run a little low. We’re sensing he has EDS too.
@lond4n@Kelsowearsprada@deidrejowen Not a Redhead but fellow sneezer. Sometimes 10-20 in a row.
NOT advisable while driving.
(Interestingly, both my sons have very red tinges to hair/beards and my niece has the kind of red hair ppl want to touch, which she hates)
And I have astigmatism.
@drerincallaghan With my second, I was pretty numb but could feel the baby crowning. Nurse said that can’t possibly be happening. I emphasized I felt it, she looked and immediately went off to find the dr. They don’t believe patients.
@drerincallaghan hEDS walks into the room. With my first, I had an epidural “window” open. My right side un-numbed. The nurse said she’d heard of it happening. Except, I didn’t know I had hEDS for another 20 yrs. And an intolerance of anesthesia is apparently a thing with EDS.
@shycollie@quinneverett But what they learn downstreams to the rest of us.
5-FU and FL didn’t have OX until about 2000. I benefited w the addition of oxaliplatin in 2006 w Stage IIIB. Clinical trials moved things forward and is why I’m here helping my son w CVID/Evans syndrome.
@shycollie@quinneverett Well, it was 19 yrs ago and I was originally offered a generic chemo. I was grateful that I could go home with it with my port, and not be in the hospital for 2 days, as I would’ve been 5 yrs earlier. What is standard of care now is because of trials and research 20 yrs ago.
@ltnnup@soveyx Scary! I would never think grocery stores as I would hope they’d be better monitored. I get gas stations. Will use cashier lanes always now. So sorry that happened to you!
