@daitouayokoyama Reenactor here! There’s the big national events with hundreds of reenactors then there’s als small ones at or near some of the battlefields as well. 90% of us don’t get paid to do it but we enjoy teaching about all the gear and firing our guns. It’s as much fun for us as ya’ll!

@YorktownCV5 Think the refit that added the 6 was late 43 early 44? Can’t remember off the top of my head the pic is from getting hit by a kamikaze in 45.

@YorktownCV5 I don’t think they ever reversed the hull number on enterprise. The 6 was added after her major refit in the US. Her bow elevator was hit by a kamikaze and the explosion tossed the elevator into the air, though they patched the hole she was ordered back to the US for repairs.
