What a day! It turned out to be so different than I expected! I painted a bench, watched @codefourtythree, a rap group from Govandi perform their song, 'India ka Pollution,' made a dog collar with @WSDIndia
It was good to see you again, Swati and nice to meet you, Harshad :)
Also read a cat haiku that Bhavani shared on the WA group. It has my heart โค๏ธ
Thank you for the photo, Pooja ๐ฑ

Best Sunday morning!
Bhavani read out Akhil Katyal's poems, Eclair posed with all our books, and we learnt so many facts about Mumbai! The Tuxedo Book Club's Mumbai-themed BYOB book meet brought us all a bit closer to the Mumbaikar in us. For that, I am grateful.
๐ฌ This weekโs #RecommendedWatch: Patala Bhairavi
๐ Where to watch: YouTube and Amazon Prime
A story that travelled from folklore to film. Patala Bhairavi draws from Madhira Subbanna Deekshituluโs Kasi Majili Kathalu, with shades of the classic Aladdin tale woven in.
It was nice to meet you, Swati :)
Image 2: A still from The Infinity Room by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama
Image 3: One of the paintings from the exhibition. Can you guess what it is?
Image 4: The 'Stupa'. My favourite installation.
Subodh Gupta's A Fistful of Sky gave me major 90s nostalgia. It reminded me that even though I grew up Gen Z, I was born a millennial.
(I was born in '96)
It was philosophical, real, innovative, and pretty in equal measure.
