You’re confusing FPI with FDI.

You need to understand the difference between FPI and FDI.

FPI = money invested in listed equities.

FDI = money invested directly into businesses, manufacturing, infrastructure and other productive assets in India.

And FDI into India is at a RECORD HIGH.

FPI selling is mostly about ownership of listed shares.

FDI is about putting money into the real economy and building assets.

So don’t confuse FPI selling with foreigners losing faith in India.

That’s the game.
