D.R.A.F.T. VR now has VRChat OSC support!
This means standalone users can run the tracking on a lower-end computer and still bring trackers into VRChat.
@OrangeCremeBar@Devvoidborn The Kinect v2 uses a lot of bandwidth and additionally has an issue where you can only use one per USB controller. Therefore to use two you need an additional pcie USB controller.
@Devvoidborn 2x kinect v2s will be significantly better, but a bit more difficult to setup due to needing a PCIE card. the iphone depth sensor only runs at 15fps and has 1/4th the resolution of the kinect v2.
@MintiestKitKat Im not aware of any popular android phones with accessible depth sensors unfortunately. If there were, I would add support in a heartbeat.
@IngenicVR Base stations will have higher accuracy, higher refreshrate, and lower performance impact, but the benefit of my software is its more accessible and doesnt require you to wear trackers. I used to have base stations but got annoyed with interference.
@migero_usausagi on my system it uses about 15% cpu and 10-15% gpu depending on the model quality. Ive had testers on lower end nvidia (rtx 3060 ti) and amd (rx 9060xt) gpus report similar performance impact.
