📢 TRANSFER RUMOUR 📢 A deal with Paul Fairbrother looks set to be completed this weekend. The move would see him return to the club after his spell with Harrogate Pétanque Club comes to an end.

A spokesperson at the club reported that "Paul is a quality player, and who has represented England with a record of success. His experience will add depth to the rest of the squad, something which will be welcomed given our upcoming EuroCup qualifiers.

On Sunday morning, the club was featured on BBC Radio 5 Live, with discussions focusing on what the club offers the community and how the sport is growing in our region.

This weekend Trafford Pétanque played an away match against The Healey in a #Rochdale Boules League fixture. Trafford came out top on the day, putting us in a good position in the league overall. Our team's experience, training and game plan paid off. Well done team #petanque

3/3 Unfortunately, for most of our players, qualification wasn't to be. However this experience has not dampened our spirits, only fired us up to continue our development and compete consistently at a higher level.

1/3 This weekend marked another landmark in the club's history as we competed in this year's Home Nations, an event that for those who rank top they go on to represent England against Scotland Guernsey & Wales later this year.

2/3 Whilst this isn't the first time some of our members participated in this event, it is the first time we've had so many, with the total of 12 players taken part.
