@mercari_app thought I got a good deal some new boots until I couldn’t get my foot inside. Started doing some research and discovered the boots I received are a woman’s boot. A mens size 12 and a woman’s size 12 are not the same size. Explain why my return request was denied??

@mercari_app This tells me they did this intentionally and once Mercari forced the rating and completed the sale, without my approval, they had nothing to worry about anymore.

@mercari_app I was told because there’s a 12 it’s my fault I didn’t ask the seller to specify it was a mens 12 prior to purchase. This seems redundant in that it had “mens boot” listed in ‘3’ different areas of the listing.

@mercari_app However, I acknowledged this in my first message when I said the boots in question fit 2 sizes smaller than the other pair of boots I own MADE BY THE SAME BRAND. and was told in every response that sizing will be different between brands. This is an obvious deflection to address

@mercari_app But since there was a 12 in the listing description, and a 12 on the tag, it was deemed to be accurate, choosing to ignore the difference in mens and woman’s sizing. Also, this not being my first time buying shoes, know that there is a difference in sizing between brands.

@mercari_app I provided the information I had at the time, and provided updates as I got them in regards to manufacturer authentication. You all chose to ignore everything but the number 12. I think it’s common knowledge a mens size 12 is different than a woman’s size 12.
