Warning-- Twitter is where you'll find my crazy libertarian political views, a libertarian is what both dems and repubs agree is crazy... the way we like it
@ColdSpock@latimeralder If you understood what logic actually was, youd realize dinosaurs are the nails in your "warming is to be feared" coffin. They literally prove you can safely warm the planet all the way to palm trees in Siberia.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder And my theory that warming is always good, which is backed by the explosive growth of life in every warming period the earth has ever gone through, most recently dinos, with the bonus of every mass extinction occurring in every cooling and ice age.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder Ultimately it boils down to your illogical theory that even a miniscule 2deg of warming will mean mass extinction across the planet, which has never happened even once in any warming period, ever, SINCE LIFE WAS FORMED...
@ColdSpock@latimeralder Its a retelling of the emperors new clothes: climate sc R praising the amazing fabrics (netZero) &R making a fortune in gov grant$, the pol R doing the bidding of their donor$ (emperors tailors, tesla, GE),
@ColdSpock@latimeralder A climate scientist, a politician, and a 3rd grader are asked the temp of a cup of coffee. The pol asks his biggest donor. The sc plugs 100 air samples around the cup into a model. The 3rd grader sticks a thermometer into the cup. This old joke is closer 2the truth than you know.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder The Thames and the Delaware regularly froze during the little ice age and it makes logical sense to you that thats just 2deg cooler than today? Are you really that gullible?
@ColdSpock@latimeralder I can put 3 therm in the same room and get 3 dif readings as much as 10f apart, but somehow you can guess the planet to within 1/100 a degree? How is that logical to you?
@ColdSpock@latimeralder In the 1600s theyd put therm on the sunny sides of buildings and often just jot a guess down on cold days instead of actually checking. There was no automation of any kind, but those records are perfect to you? How?
@ColdSpock@latimeralder Near the end of The little ice age they invented the 1st ever accurate thermometer. So, during MOST OF The LIA, where accurate measurements were impossible bc nothing accurate existed, you think it is 2deg cooler based on what?
@ColdSpock@latimeralder But your fragility theory crumbles even further when you factor in the reality that even the vast majority of perennials flourish more in warmer zones and perish in cooler zones, as is also proven out by the little ice age.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder Growing zones are common knowledge to farmers. Siberia has days as warm as Hawaii, Hawaii just doesnt have winters as cold as Siberia. THATS HOW WARMING WORKS, ALWAYS. Warming is milder, shorter winters and longer summers.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder But even if you were right and summer crops suddenly started to fail all across the world, farms 300 miles closer to the poles (in a cooler zone) would have bumper crops, and farmers would simply rotate in a less sensitive summer crop.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder Summer is +20f WARMER than spring, days are +20warmer than nights, both are way more than +5 AND YET summer is always the bumper crop. Does that sound like a plant so dainty and delicate that it cant handle heat?
@ColdSpock@latimeralder Annuals are so popular BECAUSE they grow everywhere and often you can get several harvests/yr; where perennials tend to give only 1 harvest/yr, and often you dont get a harvest for several years
@ColdSpock@latimeralder But lets take an even closer look at how gullible you are with cereals. In places like Texas and Brazil they usually get three harvests/yr from some cereals, spring summer and fall.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder Growing zones are literally zones roughly 5f warmer as they move closer to the equator. They tell farmers what perennials will grow in their zone, and what month to plant annuals. Notice in that last sentence the dif btw annuals and perennials?
@ColdSpock@latimeralder Cereals are annuals which is a fancy way of saying they literally grow EVERYWHERE from Alaska to Australia. Perennials, a completely different class of plants, are like palm trees, and they tend2 grow in narrow zones like Florida for palm trees.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder The main reason ppl gullibly fall for this cereal nonsense is because they lack even a basic understanding of agriculture, which is sadly typical of +99% of the population that has never grown anything in their life.
@ColdSpock@latimeralder You only need a sink to prove the earth rotates, not satellites and GPS. And when some "coldlogic" WEF worshiper claims crop failure due to heat, you can always find a farm nearby growing the same crop w same seeds with a bumper crop.
