The most impressive performance of the meet was coming together with the other teams for mental health awareness and raise over $1500 to be be donated to the Sarah Schulz foundation.
The Lady Raiders took advantage of the dry weather as well, finishing 2nd. Setting PR’s were: Sophia in the 400. Bri in the 1600. Ally in the 300h. Jasmine in the TJ. And Mickey in the 1600 with a meet, facility, and school record, finishing in a state top 40 time of 4:55.65 !!
Mother Nature decided to push the rain north and the boys took advantage. Tying for 1st. Multiple PR’s were set. Eli sets 2 in both the 1600 and 3200. Nathan and Brian in the 200. Bergen and Brice in the 800. Austin in both hurdles. Christian in the disc and Kaden in the PV.
To increase awareness and the importance of mental health, The TR track and field programs are raising funds for the Sarah Shulze Foundation. On Friday May 5th during TR Invite there will be several opportunities to donate to this foundation and show your support.
