Another day, another shakedown from @realDonaldTrump.
Trump owns this stalemate. He walked away from the negotiating table. He issued the ultimatum.
He is willing to let Americans suffer, and break his promises to them, just to try to save his own hide.

Today I was proud to stand with my @OHHouseDems colleagues and introduce a package of commonsense gun safety legislation. We must address this public health crisis and reduce the risk for gun injury and death. Our kids deserve better.
@tribelaw@JRubinBlogger@SpeakerPelosi@RepJerryNadler@jamie_raskin @LeaderHoyer Before the Watergate hearings began, Nixon's approval rating was higher than Trump's is now.
After just 4 months of public hearings, Nixon's support dropped by nearly half -- leaving him with only the bitter, deluded dead-enders who stuck with him to the very end.
Now do Trump.
Ohio push to make all rape and assault illegal undercut by weak GOP proposal. Reps. @RepGalonski and @ForSobecki continue fight for all victims to have equal access to justice.

NEW: Trump administration identifies *at least* 1,712 additional children it may have separated.
That’s on top of the nearly 3,000 kids we already know about.
Details, with @JuliaEAinsley. https://t.co/EY2rEElXud
NEW: Acting DHS secretary blocked Stephen Miller’s bid for another DHS shakeup this week in a fierce clash with the White House, where he demanded more control of his own agency. @nickmiroff@jdawsey1 https://t.co/01gVStqGun
.@Jim_Jordan claims the report exonerates him. It does not. It says the sexual abuse was an open secret widely known to coaches and asst coaches at the time he was there. It notes the investigation did not ascertain specifically which coaches knew what when.
I believe that we will win, and I mean it. We will work harder, we will be louder, we will be more compassionate and knowledgeable and fierce. We will have more fire and verve.
We’re going to win. We got this. Just keep moving forward.
@DanCrenshawTX Dan, deciding not to go on Fox is not insulting half of America. It is an acknowledgment that FOX is all out working against half of America. Facts are, FOX refuses guests who are able to discuss opposing views in a civil and intelligent manner every day.
