@kevinhatchard Disagree it's down to Alonso style. He fits the bill for the role more than anyone. And certainly more than a coach who had only been at Bournemouth and Rayo Vallecano. He's never played X2 weekly football or won anything.
He’s one of our greatest ever players. He’s help set the standards and he seen whats needed to reach that level. He see’s what we don’t, He knows the levels behind the scenes and he’s calling them out. Call it unprofessional or not the Liverpool way but he’s fucking right! 👑
@SamMcGuire90 For all the Edwards hit pieces on Klopp, at least when he left we were in a position to win the league straight away. Where will we be when Edwards leaves?
#OTD in 2014:
Liverpool beat Newcastle 2-1, but Man City’s win over West Ham earns them the title. Daniel Agger scores in his final appearance, while Luis Suarez also plays his last game for the club, and thought he’d scored with this quick free-kick
With the news of Ricky Van Wolfswinkel retiring, who scored his only Premier League goal against Everton, I decided to dig deeper.
A player has scored their first Premier League goal for their new club 225 times against Everton, the most of any club in the competition.

Spot the difference…
2024 - The Sun runs several stories on Starmer receiving clothes & spectacles from a Labour donor
2026 - The Sun runs not even one story on Farage receiving a £5m gift from a Reform donor
Why would that be?
He had injuries yesterday but even with them players in the team we still turn up lethargic and slow, probably because he let them all travel all over Europe in the week leading into United away 🤦
This was no hard luck story and the statistics are grim - 18 defeats, 2pts out of 24 away to teams in the top half, & losing home/away to both Manchester clubs for the first time since 1912-13.
A bad day for Slot as the same old issues blight Liverpool.
