Despite the heavy rainfall today, the residents of Quickstep waited patiently to receive a care package. The distribution took place at the Quickstep Primary School, which sustained significant damage when Hurricane Melissa recently hit the parish.

Food parcel preparation at the THQ warehouse packing center is being monitored by IES Director, Damaris Frick, and Colonel Lyons, Chief Secretary.

The two Armies working together to provide relief! The Salvation Army being supported by the JDF as starlink units are collected at the NMIA cargo facility. These starlink units will provide WiFi hotspots in communities across Western Jamaica.

The TSA Eastern Jamaica Division has partnered with the Rotary Club of Kingston and Khalsa Aid to visit several affected communities on Wednesday, November 12.

The goal of this initiative is to distribute 400 food parcels, cases of water, and hygiene packs to those affected.

The community of Whitehouse, Black River was left devastated following Hurricane Melissa. The Disaster team toured the affected areas and distributed care packages to the residents.
