@acasetoquestion Yes exactly! This is why there is so many issues with abuse in the United States! Many people don't realize there are many forms of abuse!
In my story, Mark is someone who Annie thinks she can trust, but in all reality, he is the last person who she should be confiding in. It's important to realize when you're in a bad relationship and knowing how to get out of it.

@erezshek Very true! Mental health is such a huge part in our lives and I feel that therapy can truly help one learn how to know when their mental health isn't positive. Negative mental health can have many side effects in a persons daily life.
@erezshek I agree with you! I think most people think when they first start therapy is that their therapist is going to give you all the answers, when in reality you're answering your own questions.
@techillness I am a strong believer in that your mental health comes first! When writing my short story I took my main characters mental health into consideration when writing about her situation.
@erezshek I agree with this! In my story I made my character feel uncomfortable in her session. Many people experience discomfort during therapy and I really wanted to bring that out in my story.
I was inspired to create a steady relationship in my story from my own personal life! Going through something as serious as domestic abuse can have a long term effect on someone. Having a good friend by their side is important #TSATR
