UPDATE: During lockdown, we were forced to go online only. We've grown to a group of 90+ members with 11 DMs in rotation. We're back to the pub and filling 2 rooms with over 30 IRL players each week and 2 additional games running online!

[Top Secret Gaming @TSGamingUK]

8 weeks ago my local pub started a D&D club on a Wednesday. I helped promote it and recruit players via Facebook... we had 5 players the first 3 weeks. 10 the week after that. Last week, we had 23 players and 3 DMs on the go. It’s been incredible! #dnd5e #DnD #tabletopgaming #rpg

@legendkeeperapp “Describe a new, unique 5e NPC without stats in less than 3 lines.” Is a prompt I’ve used with good success.
It takes a lot of trial and error to know what input yields the best outputs, but it’s definitely possible.

I read @SlyFlourish's Lazy DM books a few years back... before I started DMing.
Went over my session notes for last night's quest, I saw something familiar - I was using their Outline, with different names/heading without realising.
Looks like it all sank in! 😅 So damn useful!

[Top Secret Gaming @TSGamingUK]

@WyvernBladeG Good Morning from the UK folks.
Bit of a weird one: I've been sent UPS tracking details from "you", but I don't seem to remember ordering anything physical from you - I'm worried someone else is missing the details.
Can I DM you? :D

#TTRPG question of the day; if you had to pick, would you rather play a game that was all combat, or all social roleplay?

[Top Secret Gaming @TSGamingUK]

I *think* I’d probably lean towards Roleplay.
Feels like there’s more opportunity for variety there.
That said, I’ve enjoyed the odd session of pure combat.

@bags4dice Super cool!
Congrats - great milestone.

Hello @bea_dnd,
I hope you're well!
Hopefully a quick question for you:
If I own "It all starts in a Tavern" is there any benefit to be buying "The Big Book" version?

Essentially what's the difference?
I couldn't work it out from the DrivethruRPG page - apologies! :D

@HungryScribbler Currently in bed next to one of my #DnD shelves, so these are all equally close to me! 😅

@HungryScribbler The #RugbyWorldCup over in France. 🤓
