Strong attack on frontier AI labs from silicon valley insider and Palantir CEO Alex Karp.
He explicitly mentions that enterprises must own the "means of production" in the video interview. I have long talked about why no large enterprise or nation that wants to be wealthy should ever outsource the critical capital goods needed for production - it would end up transferring "alpha" (all value creation) to its capital goods providers.
In a different context, this issue is already causing pain in the textile spinning industry. High tech robotic spinning machines are so expensive, it now takes over 7 years to recover the cost of machines by selling the finished product (yarn). So some of the mills are rethinking the foreign capital goods vs domestic labor spending.
Software companies that do "tokenmaxxing" also transfer all value to frontier labs.
Here is the crux of the matter: the entire business case behind the multi-trillion dollar capex by AI providers hinges on extracting all value from the rest of the economy and concentrating that in a few companies.
The rest of the economy has started to rebel, even the rest of the _silicon valley_ economy!
POTHOLE TRIGGERS SERIAL TYRE PUNCTURES ON HIGHWAY!
Tyres punctured of around 10-15 vehicles on Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway. Punctures happened reportedly because of a big pothole on the highway. No casualties. No injuries. Thus far.
Step wells were integral part of the society - sacred place, resting place for travelers, water source etc
Restoration of step well is futile energy if it isn’t integrated back to the community. It will get covered in weed and algae infested water
One more clue is that both Pāṇini and Patañjali both also refer to the existence of women Vedic scholars (Brahmavādinis) who must have undergone Upanayana Saṃskāra. Pāṇini's references to feminine forms for students (śiṣyā, chātrī) and for teachers (ācāryāṇī) and their participation in Vedic caraṇas reflects a much more ancient society where Hindu women studied Vedas. This is also corroborated by references to Brahmavādinis receiving Upanayana and reciting Sāvitri in earlier eras according to Hārīta & Yama Smṛtis. It's by the time of Manusmriti (after 2nd c. BCE) that the Dharmaśāstras start treating marriage as the woman's equivalent of upanayana, though still preserving hints of the older practice.
So both Pāṇini and Patañjali must be from a much older era where Hindu women were Vedic scholars. I'm trying to piece together when these pivotal developments took place to reconstruct a chronology of changes in women's roles in Hinduism.
Pawan Kalyan just won countless hearts with one simple statement.
No imposition. No division. Just respect for every Indian language and the spirit of national unity.
She wasn't accused of any crime.
Yet at 4:15 AM, the police took her—and her 2.5-year-old child—to the police station.
Then one judge asked a question that left everyone speechless:
"What was the urgency?"
The court didn't just hold the police accountable. It reminded every woman in India of a crucial legal right: you cannot be arrested after sunset and before sunrise except under exceptional circumstances permitted by law.
The most powerful protection is knowing your rights.
Save this reel. Share it with every woman you know. It could make all the difference.

The Amarnath Yatra is thousands of years old—so why is Buta Malik still credited with "discovering" the sacred cave?
When historical records predate the 11th century, who created the 1850 discovery narrative?
@jayeshmatiyal reveals the untold history of the Amarnath Cave.

‼️TN: DMK MLA Anitha Radhakrishnan arrested in Thoothukudi for speaking rudely against CM Joseph Vijay.
Absolutely no outrage among the liberals!
Imagine Modi & Yogi did the same what will happen? Literally every Jihadi & Pidi will be in jail.
In 1492 CE, there were 140,000,000 humans living in the American continents. Some say half of that.
By 1600 CE, 108 years later, that number was to ~15,000,000.
That is what European Christians did to Native Indian populations of North & South America.
A horrible genocide..
Hardeep Puri said that ethanol is used in racing cars as well to defend his stand on E20. This is the Petroleum Minister's understanding of the issue. What can one even say to that!
First, race cars are specifically engineered to run on ethanol; therefore, it does not harm them. This is not the same as forcing E20 into regular cars that are not engineered to handle it. In non-compliant vehicles, ethanol will aggressively degrade standard rubber gaskets, plastic parts, and aluminum components over time.
Second, a racing engine is built to survive for only a few hundred miles before being stripped down and rebuilt by professional mechanics, who easily manage any fuel-induced wear. An average citizen, however, needs their car to last for over a decade. Running non-compliant engines on E20 will certainly not help achieve that.
Third, race teams use ethanol solely for a performance boost due to its high octane rating, not for fuel economy. For regular people, however, fuel economy matters immensely.
Baap re...
Tomorrow if a comet strikes a planet orbiting a star 25,000 light years away, some chronic complainers will whine about that also
This liberal thinks Indians are suffering because Russia bought petrol from India.
No matter what happens, they will complain...
The difference is:
While Congress was founded by a British citizen and is currently run by an Italian family,
whereas BJP was founded by Indians and continues to be led by Indians today.
Look at joy when they discuss how a vegetarian Hindu governor was tricked into eating mutton-mixed soup by family of this Khalistani. No different from Islamists.

Just goes to show how Chatham House has more prejudice than understanding of India’s foreign policy choices.
This is a very poorly analysed article.
The writer thinks India pragmatically needed to win Trump’s favour by participating in a flattery charade to outbid Pakistan.
Why should India have taken part in a self-demeaning farce to acknowledge Trump’s lies about the ceasefire and on top of that hypocritically nominate him for the Nobel Peace prize?
Trump never spoke to Modi personally about the ceasefire as he claims or threatened massive tariffs to intimidate India if it refused a ceasefire.
Sharif tells him he saved millions of lives as he averted a nuclear war and Trump laps up this concoction and keeps repeating it.
The real danger of a nuclear war is in Europe which is being dangerously underplayed by the US, UK and Europe for all their pragmatism.
UK and EU keep repeating that their proxy war against Russia is values based.
If Trump’s discourse is not values based that of UK is. Look at Starmer’s statements.
India’s foreign policy is today interest based and hence structured around strategic autonomy or multi-alignment.
If Washington has downgraded India in its Asia strategy it has even more dramatically downgraded UK and Europe in its Russia strategy besides being dismissive of NATO.
If India’s “ principled” foreign policy has failed, has that of the UK and Europe succeeded.
Why make simplistic judgments?
See what Vice- President Vance says about the UK, as well as his castigation of Europe in his speech at the Munich Security Conference.
Big slaps.
We need less preachiness about India from Chatham House. @ ChathamHouse
