The Scratching Shed

The Scratching Shed #LUFC blog.

Same name on Threads if Elon does manage to ruin this once and for all.

Two points dropped. #LUFC

Just imagine if England had a defence...

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Poor game. Scrappy, not much to get excited about. Cancelled each other out a lot.

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

I was hoping for a draw 🤣

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

@C17J Yeah, he didn't inspire much confidence, did he... 😬

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Meh. Let's break that match down without the nonsense commentary...

Chelsea reserves 0-1 Leeds reserves

CFC make subs

Chelsea first team 4-1 Leeds reserves

LUFC make subs

Chelsea first team 2-1 Leeds first team

It's not great, but the lack of reaction from bench cost us

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Bit late now, Daniel 😂

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Palmer is good though. Stupid haircut, but brilliant footballer.

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Calm down Chelsea, you've had to bring your first team on. That's still our reserves 😂

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

@knowlesm It's all we bit too competent, isn't it?

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Perfect start to the season. Back to back away clean sheets for Trafford, who already looks a bargain. Fringe players looking good too.

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Jed York might be the first #LUFC owner pictured in a prison jump suit, but we've been owned by much worse crooks.

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Obviously the high class escorts just don't do it for him. 😂

[Football Away Days @AwayDaysFB]

The reason for the arrest of Leeds United co-owner Jed York in the United States, is alledgedly due to him spending $140 on a prostitude in a trailer park in Ohio.

He has plead no contest to the charges and has been released with a fine, and will not face a trial or any further jail time... 🤯

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Away win and clean sheet to start the season. That'll do. 💛💙👍

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Did exactly what we signed him for. Best of luck to him. 👍

[Leeds United @LUFC]

📰 Everyone at Leeds United wishes Joël Piroe all the best this season as he joins West Ham on loan for the 2026/27 campaign

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

@DirtyLeedsFC Yeah, that's pretty much nailed it for me. Progress and no stress. Doesn't sound very Leeds, does it? 😂

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Where does everyone think we'll finish this season then?

Personally I think we'll lack the firepower to be looking too far up the league, but we've improved the squad and should be pretty solid at the back.

I'll go 12th. #LUFC

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

@PureLeeds That's true, but it still feels like we're one injury away from a problem in attack, doesn't it? And this is the Prem, so there's a lot of other squads that are pretty well stacked.

[The Scratching Shed @TSSLUFC]

Felt pretty relaxed this transfer window. I don't think any fan base finishes one without feeling they could benefit from a couple more, but the squad looks stronger than last year and that's the goal, right?
