Good discussion on how ethnicity and other factors impact sex workers' ability to capitalise on class associations with being a student. Stigma is the main concern of student sex workers in the Netherlands, and students say stigma is on the rise @Studentsexwork#SWRHPGR19
The last student presentation of today is by Marije Van Stempvoort, another @Swansea_Law student (though in collaboration with a University in Amsterdam) at #SWRHPGR19. Marije is talking about 'Student Sex Work in the Netherlands: Much More than a Flexible Job that Pays Well'

dear PGRs, please make sure you're following @sexworkreshub who organise this conference every year!

next up at #SWRHPGR19 is Muhammad Ali Awan who has come all the way from Goethe University in Frankfurt Germany! Muhammad will talk about 'The Sexual Objectification of Hijra People' - a part of the PhD looking at transgender and human rights issues in Pakistan
Very fascinating methodology - comparing how juries would judge a sexual assault case based on vignettes where the victim has one of 2 stigmatised occupations (cleaners and sex workers) #swrhpgr19
Also, a huge thank you to @BelindaBG for her moving speech and fascinating insight into policy debates and oratory techniques this morning, so important if we want our research to have impact in the political sphere! #SWRHPGR19
Up next at #SWRHPGR19 we've got @AlainaTurner from our very own @Swansea_Law Criminology Department talking about 'Evaluating the Effectiveness of Service Provision Towards Improved Safety and Well-being of Street Sex Workers in Swansea'
