A Memorial Mass commemorating the life of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI will be celebrated this Thursday, 5 January 2023 at 10am at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Townsville.
Everyone is welcome to come as we pray for this Shepherd of the Church who has been summoned to the Father.
In Latin, the priest's title is "pastor", meaning "shepherd". Our priests are shepherding the flock (our communities) through new times toward parish renewal.
