@tiga_style@HolmerNoah@Brady_H Agreed! Super isn't really in the same genre as endorphin or evo sl. Could also look at magic speed 5 if you want something more aggressive
THAT’S HOW YOU RUN BOSTON🏆🏆
John Korir collects his second consecutive Boston Marathon title, running a mind-boggling time of 2:01:51 to take over a minute off of Geoffrey Mutai’s 15-year-old course record.
Korir dropped the hammer from Mile 20 onwards, crushing the hills and eventually winning by 55 seconds 🤯
I don't post about work much here, but working hard this week in Menorca with the best trail runners in the world, helping make ASICS the No. 1 brand for trail shoes.
The AIU has banned Jackline Sakilu (Tanzania) for 10 years from 17 September 2025 for Presence/Use of a Prohibited Substance (Androsterone, Etiocholanolone, 5αAdiol and 5βAdiol, metabolites of Testosterone). DQ results since 29 June 2024

🇺🇸 On a strictly one-time basis, World Athletics has approved an expanded seven-woman U.S. team for the women's half marathon at the 2026 World Athletics Road Running Championships in Copenhagen (Sept. 19-20), up from the standard four.
This comes after three American women (Jess McClain, Emma Grace Hurley and Ednah Kurgat) were robbed of a likely podium finish at the USATF Half Marathon Championships in Atlanta after a police injury caused the lead vehicle to direct the front pack off course
The seven spots team will be:
3 off-course athletes: Jess McClain, Emma Grace Hurley, Ednah Kurgat
3 official top finishers: Molly Born, Carrie Ellwood, Annie Rodenfels
1 world ranking selection (as of May 5)
🗣️ CEO Max Siegel: “From the moment this happened, our focus was on doing right by the athletes. Jessica, Emma Grace, and Ednah had clearly separated themselves in the race and we are sorry they did not get to celebrate their accomplishment by breaking the tape. On behalf of everyone at USA Track & Field, I want to thank World Athletics. Their council and leadership are committed to a fair and athlete-centered solution that preserves the integrity of competition while recognizing the reality of what occurred in Atlanta.”
How will it work in Copenhagen?
USATF will designate four scoring athletes and three non-scoring athletes. The non-scoring trio are full Team USATF members and will earn World Athletics ranking points, but cannot contribute to team scoring, win medals, or receive official prize money and will wear a distinct kit. USATF will cover all additional expenses and will pay out any prize money non-scoring athletes earn on their own.
🔜 The full U.S. team will be named following the USATF 1 Mile Championships (April 22) and USATF 5K Championships (May 2).
USATF has issued a statement regarding the finish of the women's race at the USATF Half Marathon Championships in Atlanta this morning, where Jess McClain, Edna Kurgat and Emma Hurley were leading the race but were directed off course by the lead vehicle.
A protest was filed but has been denied.
The results will stand. Molly Born is the 2026 USATF half marathon champion.
USATF will review the incident before it selects the team members for the 2026 World Road Running Championships.
Full statement below:
Let's put our best events of the weekend behind a paywall, and then let's royally fuck up a world selection race that is publicly streamed.
USATF continues to be a world class organization.
CHAOS IN ATLANTA 😵💫
With under 2 miles to go, Jess McClain led the 2026 U.S. Half Marathon Championships by a good margin and looked well on her way to a national title… until the lead bike led her, Emma Grace Hurley, and Edna Kurgat off course.
Molly Born, who was over a minute behind, is the first runner to correctly complete the course and is credited with the win in 69:43, but multiple protests are expected.
Carrie Ellwood (69:47) and Annie Rodenfels (1:10:12) finished second and third. This race serves as a selection event for the 2026 World Road Running Championships, which further complicates matters for this zany outcome.
⏪ Louie Hinchliffe, the 2024 100m NCAA champion and a 2024 Olympic bronze medalist from Team GB’s 4x100m relay 🇬🇧🥉has rejoined the University of Houston’s track and field program.
After the 2024 Paris Olympics, Hinchliffe decided to turn pro and signed a contract with ASICS. A stress fracture in his back and a hamstring injury kept him largely sidelined in 2025.
Per the Houston Chronicle, Hinchliffe reached back out to try and work with coach Carl Lewis. However, Lewis does not work with any athlete who isn’t enrolled in school or hasn’t graduated.
The reinstatement process took months. UH submitted Hinchliffe’s ASICS deal to NIL Go, which approved it. He then completed the NCAA Student-Athlete Reinstatement Process. He enrolled for the spring semester in January. Received official NCAA clearance this week. He now has two years of NCAA eligibility remaining.
🔜 He will make his season debut in the 60m at the Big 12 Indoor Championships.

Zouhair Talbi wins the 2026 Houston Marathon in historic fashion, clocking a 2:05:45 to become the fourth fastest American all time in the marathon and only the fourth U.S. sub-2:06 American man in history.
Talbi negative split 63:05-62:40 to claim the victory by 31 seconds over runner-up Adane Gebre.
