@AppStateConeBoy You have to go back to 92 or 93 to find a worst offensive performance. Even with the 24-0 loss to LSU in 2005 we still had 100 more yards.
@AppPredictions Everyone should be mad about that performance. By the numbers, that was statistically our worst offensive performance since joining the FBS.
@RPh_HTTR That's not the first time that's happened in recent memory. App players need to stop trying to block punts. Refs have shown if you're pushed into the kicker they will call it on you
@AppPredictions JMU has more fans than there are people. Incredible numbers. Scientists are terrified. The Sun Belt tried counting fans at other schools but the number kept coming back negative. Some even say JMU invented applause.
@ShelbyJohn37061@davidpollack47@BrentRollinsPhD@BroncoSportsFB Yep. It's a superiority complex. If they refuse to play "inferior" teams they can keep treating their status as evidence of their superiority. Only play other "superior" teams and they can explain any loss as a loss to another elite program. Gotta protect that reputation.
@FormerAppAthlts@AppStateManiyak "You're wrong" isn't an argument.
Pass interference on our opening drive, which we fumbled.
Intentional grounding and holding on their scoring drive.
Those were the only 3 penalties on Maine when I commented.
You can look at the play-by-play...
@FormerAppAthlts@AppStateManiyak What are you taking about? Your argument was that penalties on Maine got us into the red zone. Yet we had 6 red zone appearances, 5 of which resulted in points. None of Maine's penalties were on those scoring drives. Which point did I prove?
@FormerAppAthlts@AppStateManiyak Maine has 3 penalties; one was on their scoring drive.
Their two interceptions resulted in TD drives but they were 55 and 69 yards.
@cort108@leerob@sophaller Modern AI campus easily draws 10x+ the power requirements of conventional data center. AI companies are also eating up the entire supply chain, making it difficult for other businesses to replace servers. A $15k server a year ago is closer to $40k today and a 4-month lead time.
@cort108@leerob@sophaller The criticism isn't that data centers exist; it's the rapid construction of extremely power-hungry AI data centers. They have significantly different economic and infrastructure implications than the facilities that run the web.
@terri4436166795 Define closer. A billionaire can theoretically end up broke faster than someone working a minimum wage job. It's got a lot more to do with how you manage money than how much you have. Which is the point. If you need benefits you shouldn't be blowing it on overpriced junk.
