@honor_dennis@gecffmn It’s not the height that is the problem it’s the fact that the rear is significantly lower than the front. If the rear was the same height as the front there would be no infraction.
No once the ball is within arms reach the catcher has the right to the plate and runner doesn’t, runner is clearly not to the plate before the ball is in the glove of the catcher. I had a similar situation last night and runner was out im calling it that way every time the ball beats the runner. Prior to him having the ball the catcher should not have been on the plate and if ball had been half a second later it would have been obstruction. On of the runner should be ejected is at the discretion of the ump if the contact was intentional.
This is not obstruction since the catcher was actively fielding the ball (ball is within arms reach of catcher) prior to the runner reaching the plate runner is out. Rules say you can’t make intentional contact and base runner made no moves to avoid contact. At the end it is umpire discretion if the base runner is ejected or not if he believes the contact was intentional.
@DragoonEffect@MKgubernaculum@djkal91 That’s what I saw as well clearly comes up off the ground on the last left turn as his right foot is firmly planted.
@BadCallOfficial The player in orange drove into and pulled his left arm up after the player in white grabbed the ball anything I would call a foul on the player in orange due to the contact after the player in white had control of the ball. Watched this frame by frame and that is the takeaway.
@Mappy6984 This car dealers math is off or he is scamming these people. 48 months at 19.99% interest and the $25k price with $8k down I get around $500 a month.
