Cracker day on the cards tomorrow with the G1 trio at Caulfield and some decent bets going around at Rosehill. 0/2 tonight but confident we can win it back tomorrow at the two big meets and around the grounds.

Fine Star R10 Ascot

Last bet of the day and looks a good one. Strong form prior to a decent break including a Champion Fillies third behind Pure Excess and Talkanco she steps out over 1200 where she is 2/2. Won't be as far back from the gate, trial shows she's come back super, not much depth in this, look for her launching late.

Bassett Hound R6 Ascot

So glad to be back at Ascot as their spring/summer kick off, very good contest here between two full of quality. Interesting setup for Like Clockwork, 1200 back to 1000. Keen to take her on here as BH looks a weapon, he will sit back let them roll along and have last crack. Won his last three in great style and they don't trial much better coming in, should be fav.

Jeez this is a week race, think BEA has stacks of potential and his only defeat was in a stronger race in Melbourne on a heavy deck. Two nice trials to lead in, hard to knock.

Bustling R7 Cranbourne

Not super keen to dive into one who has been costly lately but he does look well placed here. Maps ahead of his main rivals, has had two nice looking jumpout wins prior to this prep and finally strikes a good track for the first time since 3.

Miss Freelove R9 Rosehill

Wrapping up Saturday's bets with one I thought was well over the odds and a huge place chance. Wide draw bit of a concern but there's a couple out there with her who I can drag her close to midfield and she can find some cover. 3/3 third up and 1200 is perfect for her although she hasn't won over the trip yet, hit the line really well first up in the How Now.

Headley Grange R8 Rosehill

Another tough race with an open market, thought HG would map superbly behind a couple of rough hopes and should be better suited with the 59.5. First up Tramway win was great and now peak fitness third-up, loves both Rosehill and 1400.

Lindermann R7 Rosehill

Forgive him for LS just like we did when he won the Chelmsford post the Winx. Sydney is his place to be, Rosehill is his favourite track and this distance range is his cup of tea. Beat Attrition in this last year and can see the same happening, has a perfect map and a good track. Hard to see them running him down, best of the day.

Satono Glow R6 Rosehill

Talk of the town this race with an interesting contest between the top and bottom weights. They both ran 1100 on Makybe Diva Day at HQ and Satono Glow ran the faster time, she also looks more suited by the 1200m. Map favours Paradoxium but I'm backing SG as the better horse to run him down. Shoutout if you got anything with a 4 in front of it.

Stormy Marco R4 Rosehill

Bit surprised by the market here, expected to see the two Golden Rose contenders at the top. Think SM was a bit flat second up and not favoured by the draw, he has always looked a 2000 metre horse so 1800 won't be an issue.

Barrengarry R3 Rosehill

Toughest test for him to date but confident he can measure up. SITE his main danger and has 4kg less and the map advantage over him. Won two midways so well without cover this prep and looks like the 2000m will be fine and he will finally get some cover.

Miss Spacegirl R1 Rosehill

Unlucky first up not to win, held up in the straight and just couldn't get the nose down. Will be coming late again here but appreciates the speed on and will get that and extra 100m could be the difference maker.

Sabaj R9 Caulfield

Tough race most years and even more so this year, I think Sabaj is one over the odds and he should improve lengths third up. Both runs poor this prep but fastest L200 in the SRC and he gets the blinkers and finally up to 1600. Half a length behind Evaporate and Tom Kitten in the ASM in the autumn and has 4kg less than Evap here.

I've also got a tiny futures speck on Call Me Coach that I took post his first win, he's still raw but plenty of ability and could be the shock result if there is one.

Blind Raise R8 Caulfield

Keep coming back to him for this race where I think the fav will get rolled. Still haven't seen him full throttle IMO and only fail came on a soft track in the Sires in QLD. LS win was super impressive and up to 1600 is perfect for him where he maps to sit top two in run and be hard to run down.

Tron Bolt

If they go hard and one is going to mow them down in the straight I think it'll be this guy, first up glorified barrier trial, second up in Golden Rose was back and good late, seen this setup with Autumn Boy last year and he is ready to peak here 3rd up.
