According to reports, Philip Hammond is set to announce the creation of a new 50 pence coin to commemorate #Brexit. The coin, expected to bear the phrase “Friendship with all nations”, will be released at 11pm on March 29th next year when the UK officially leaves the #EU.
New figures reveal that the state #pension will rise by around £4.25 a week or £220 a year from next April. The full state pension will be worth £168.60 per week, or £8,767.20 after rising from £164.35 a week - above the rate of #inflation.
