What’s better than a rare Super Delta formation featuring the Thunderbirds and the @USNavy Blue Angels over Washington, D.C.?
Watching it from four different views for #UFCWhiteHouse as part of #Freedom250. 🇺🇸

That is a legit question. To me that all falls into the “building a winning culture” phase of a program. There is no utopia. Wins might be hard to come by, in certain years, for various reasons. But the principals of winning and how to win doesn’t change. These “attention to details” must be taught and demonstrated by the coaches first. Coaching, as you know, is truly managing many moving parts with various motives and personalities. Getting players to be “team 1st” is the hardest part of it all. Especially now. Especially if your not winning. I suggest shining a light, every opportunity you get, on players who exemplify a “team 1st” mindset. No matter how small it is. This is particularly true of non-starters. Putting the team first doesn’t mean we put ourselves last. It just means we think of ourselves less in the scope of a greater cause… team over self. That’s hard for any human to do. Most of us are selfish, to a degree, by nature. Of course players contine to battle daily to become starters and healthy competition and good coaching improves the team. Better team equals more wins. All while each is challenged to be “team players” even if they don’t like their role or the game result. In summary, all of this is a huge challenge, but the best coaches transform mentality over time. And each year, with new players (and parents) it all must be revisited and massaged. Hope this helps?
