Nearly $30 billion in Treasuries and another $21 billion in mortgage-backed securities (MBS) suddenly needed market participants to get liquidity. That means someone - or many - couldn't find money in the interbank market and had to go to the Fed for an emergency bailout.

Think back to 2019, when similar repo spikes were the first signal of an impending liquidity crisis that preceded the pandemic collapse of the markets.

1) We know many of you have been waiting for news about the planned STARDUST burn!
Thank you for your patience and understanding - we wanted to explain everything clearly, without rushing, and with full transparency.

The original plan was simple: to burn 1,000,000,000 STARDUST to reduce the total supply in circulation. Later we decide to burn even more! A dedicated wallet and automated script were prepared to handle the burn through a special bot that would publish an on-chain confirmation once completed. It was meant to be the first public demonstration of our updated burn mechanism.

However, during late-night preparation, a technical error occurred. Due to one missing line of code, the new wallet received incorrect access permissions, which made it completely inaccessible for any future operations.

As a result, around 2.4 billion STARDUST were transferred to an address that no one can ever use again.

So effectively, these tokens are already removed from circulation forever, even though the process didn’t follow the exact “burn” procedure we had announced))

In essence, the outcome is the same - the market supply of STARDUST has decreased, and user balances remain unchanged.

🦅 Gold Eagle Season 2 🦅
After a bright and eventful first season that lasted 100 days, we’re entering a new stage in the evolution of Gold Eagle.

Season One became a real experiment that proved how strong and active our community can be when clear rules, transparent rewards, and real results are in place. We saw thousands of participants, daily discussions, stable mining, and constant growth of interest in the project.

But along with success came challenges a large number of bot farms tried to exploit the system, disrupting fair balance among real users. This experience helped us improve the mechanics so the new season would be fair, stable, and long-term. Season 2 launches a new 1,000-day cycle!

It’s not a short campaign or a promise of future airdrops, it’s a structured long-term program with real reward distribution. The main goal is to build a sustainable ecosystem where every participant benefits from activity, and the STARDUST economy is supported through buyback and burn mechanisms.

Reward Pool and Growth
The reward pool for Season 2 contains 1,000,000,000 SSLX – ten times larger than in Season 1. Rewards will be distributed daily among all users who hold staked STARDUST or provide liquidity in pools.

1,000,000 SSLX per day will be distributed continuously throughout the 1,000-day cycle. The pool is not fixed, it will continue to grow thanks to Sl8 Launchpad. Ten percent of the emission of every new token launched through the Sl8 Launchpad will be added to the Gold Eagle Prize Pool.

STARDUST Buyback. All funds collected from the sale of the Second Season Key booster will be used to buy back STARDUST from the market and burn it, reducing supply and supporting price stability.

Gold Eagle is an integral part of the Sl8 ecosystem, a social platform where users earn rewards not only through mining but also by creating content, engaging with others, and growing the community. 

How to Start
To join Season 2, just follow a few simple steps:
1. Download the Sl8 App (https://t.co/9IE7tXbYJq), complete registration and activate your wallet in the *Wallet* section.
2. Visit  https://t.co/H8jqoyv6Az and log in with your Sl8 account.
3. Purchase the Second Season Key for 10 USDC – this booster unlocks STARDUST mining for 30 days.
4. Activate the Satchel booster. The base level holds only 50,000 STARDUST, while the minimum claim this season is 400,000 STARDUST. Upgrade your Satchel to at least Level 3 (total cost about 4.4 USDC) to increase capacity.
5. Start mining and monitor your progress. Once you reach 400,000 STARDUST, the *Claim* button becomes active.
6. Choose staking term and press *Claim* – all mined tokens are automatically transferred into staking. 

Mining and Staking
Mining runs continuously while your key is active and you have energy. When the Satchel is full, the process pauses until you make a claim. You can also upgrade the Coffee booster, which increases your energy limit and lets you mine longer without breaks. If energy runs out, simply press *Refill* to restore it.

After you choose a lock period and press *Claim*, the mined STARDUST moves into staking. Lock periods: 90, 180, 360, or 999 days.

The longer the term, the higher the annual yield:
90 days – 9.5%
180 days – 14.5%
360 days – 19%
999 days – 28%
Rewards are paid weekly in STARDUST directly to your wallet. You can hold, sell, restake, or use them in liquidity pools.

After the staking term ends, your principal amount is automatically returned within 24 hours. Each claim creates a separate staking position, so you can have multiple deposits running at the same time.

How to Earn SSLX
There are three ways to earn SSLX from the main reward pool:
1. Through Gold Eagle. When you mine and claim STARDUST, those tokens go into staking and are automatically counted in the SSLX distribution system. The more STARDUST you have staked, the greater your share of daily rewards. The minimum staking amount is 400,000 STARDUST.
2. In the Sl8 App wallet (staking section). You purchase STARDUST and stake them directly inside the app by choosing one of four plans. The minimum staking amount is 5,000,000 STARDUST.
3. In the Sl8 App wallet (liquidity section). To participate, provide tokens of equal value (for example 10 USDC in SSLX and 10 USDC in STARDUST). You’ll earn a share of the SSLX reward pool plus trading-fee commissions.

Reward Distribution
The system performs a daily snapshot of all STARDUST balances in staking and liquidity pools.
Afterward, a portion of the reward pool is distributed proportionally among all participants. Earned SSLX instantly appears in your wallet – you can hold it, sell it, stake it again, or use it in liquidity pools. 

Gold Eagle is a long-term project with real mechanics and is designed to remain sustainable for many years. Therefore, we reserve the right to adjust interest rates and other ecosystem parameters as needed to ensure stable operation and the achievement of long-term goals.
