A month on from #AwdryEx5 lets take a lookback on the event, featuring thoughts from staff, volunteers & the Awdry family in this new video on our YouTube channel.
While this may be the last one for a while, the Awdry Connection isn't going anywhere!

Thank you so much for the warm reception to Oliver's Cliffside Collapse. I'm hoping to hold a livestream at some point this week. What would you like to see? Models? Projects? What are some questions you would like to have answered?
There's some rumours that I've recently celebrated a major milestone in life, and I'm happy to confirm that it's true! 🤍
Very honoured to say that I'm on the front cover of the Talyllyn Volunteer magazine. 🥳 Thanks to @RailInspector
I also got married. 💍

At long last, here is the Awdry Extravaganza 5 experience from the livestream team's side of things, going through every element of the event! Full 45 min video on YouTube.
Mystery solved! Now part 2...
Did anyone film/photo the LEGENDARY race of Carr vs Sir Handel on the Saturday Talking Train?
Particularly at Dolgoch the livestream cut out and there's no evidence we made it onto the platform! Carr promises we did.
I've made a few videos this year, but this is the one I'm proudest of. Where else would I get to direct a real steam engine?!
So many talented people involved in making this, but the star is really the Rev. W. Awdry who manages to bring "Sir Handel" to life anew

TONIGHT at 6pm BST - The classic story from 'Four Little Engines' as you've NEVER seen it before!
'Sir Handel' presented in LIVE ACTION with narration by the Rev. W. Awdry himself, filmed at the Talyllyn Railway - where it all really happened.

Like last year, I’m compiling all of the Awdry Extravaganza 5 videos into a playlist which you can find through this link.

The other day, I visited @propstore_com the other day and it was marvellous seeing lots of character models and prop artifacts used in @ThomasFriends ~ especially that GINORMOUS THOMAS MODEL!!!
Thank you Prop Store for your kind hospitality.

I completely forgot to post about this one! I had a lot of fun making the actual crash for the brake van, and hope to release a more detailed video covering the crash sometime soon.
