I don't care what political party John Fetterman belongs to. What I care about is character, integrity, and whether a leader puts the people ahead of personal ambition.
In my opinion, John Fetterman is one of the few public officials today who consistently appears guided by common sense, honesty, and a genuine desire to serve. He speaks his mind, stands by his convictions, and doesn't strike me as someone driven by power, wealth, or personal gain. He seems focused on doing what's right for the people he represents.
Wherever his political future takes him, I believe America would benefit from having more leaders with his approach—leaders who work for the people instead of themselves, a leader who is not afraid of the establishment.
You don't have to agree with me, and that's okay. From where I stand, John Fetterman has earned my respect, and I hope he’s earned yours. He’s got what it takes.

America has faced difficult moments before, and we will face them again. Today, we are a nation with too many voices, opinions, and enormous division. While the answers may not come quickly, one thing must always remain certain: America must endure.
Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, Independent or Libertarian matters less than whether we choose leaders of character, courage, and common sense. History reminds us that great leadership has come from both parties. Presidents like JFK, Reagan, and Clinton all inspired Americans to believe that our best days were still ahead.
We must reject extremism in every form and never lose sight of the principles that have made this nation a beacon of freedom and opportunity. The American Dream may feel farther away for many families today, especially at the grocery store and the gas pump, but it’s not gone. Good leadership, personal responsibility, and people who refuse to give up on one another will hopefully make sure the American Dream remains within reach.
America has never been defined by our differences, but by our determination to rise above them. If we keep our minds open, our hearts generous, and our faith in America strong, I believe our greatest chapters are still to be written. God bless this great nation.

As many Americans debate changes in the meaning and use of words like "he" and "she," many believe the word "Democrat" should not be casually redefined to fit the agenda of any ideological faction. Political labels have histories and meanings that deserve thoughtful debate. Voters, not ideological extremes, should decide on the future.
I've always respected the "true" Democratic Party and comfortably walked both party lines, appreciating the core values each has brought to America. Over the years, I’ve had lunch with Ted Kennedy, developed a close relationship with Hillary Clinton, and was one of the last private citizens to meet with President Clinton & Hillary in the Red Room of the White House the night before they left office. I’ve hosted political parties for Hillary for friends of mine who wanted to meet her, and they were taken aback to see how kind, thoughtful and genuine she truly was.
I met James Carville at one of Hillary’s intimate dinner parties in D.C, and whether you agree with him or not, he’s a lifelong, old-school Democrat who has spent his career defending the party's traditional values. He is also married to a right-wing Republican, proving that people with different political beliefs can still coexist.
Recently, Carville has argued that the Democratic Party's far-left socialist wing no longer reflects the party’s traditional principles and has suggested that those with fundamentally different visions should form their own party rather than redefine what many Americans have long understood a Democrat to be.

Sometimes world events make the case better than words ever could. Just one day after Ambassador Leandro Rizzuto Jr. urged the Organization of American States' 75 Permanent Observers to help strengthen the hemisphere's disaster relief fund, an earthquake struck Venezuela—a powerful reminder that preparedness can't wait.
Rizzuto's proposal is simple: modest contributions from Observer nations, matched dollar-for-dollar, could jumpstart a lifesaving emergency fund and ultimately grow it into a $10 million resource for the Americas when disaster strikes. It's a call for nations to move beyond observing and become true partners in protecting lives.
Behind every great leader is a family that shares in the sacrifices and celebrates the purpose. Ambassador Leandro Rizzuto Jr. is blessed with the unwavering support of his beautiful wife, Denise, and their daughters, who have stood by him throughout his remarkable journey. His lifelong commitment to giving back, helping others, and finding ways to make a meaningful difference reflects not only the values he lives by, but the family that has always inspired and supported his mission of service.
Read why Ambassador Rizzuto’s proposal could become one of the most important humanitarian initiatives in the Western Hemisphere!

Saying goodbye to friends coming and going, while celebrating my cousin Enid's husband, Dr. Louis Rogow, on his birthday at Cafe Centro made for such a memorable night.
The Copeland Davis Trio was absolutely phenomenal! Great music, delicious food, outstanding service, and the best conversations with all my PB buddies. We were all in agreement—no one performs jazz quite like the Copeland Davis Trio! A night filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Happy Birthday, Dr. Louis Rogow! 📷📷📷

If tensions in the Middle East continue cooling off and global trade routes remain open, that's good news for everyone. The world has had enough drama lately. My blood pressure doesn't need another season of "As the World Turns: International Crisis Edition."
Love him or hate him, President Trump is working around the clock to get this country back on track. The challenges are enormous and with no shortage of critics, but while Washington is focused on wars, trade, and the economy, there is one giant elephant in the room that nobody seems to want to discuss: AI.
I love technology, but when I hear Bloomberg and business news outlets telling us how much more efficient AI is becoming, all I hear is "Look how much work we can do without hiring humans." It’s all great, until it's YOUR job! The genie is out of the bottle, and America needs to have a serious conversation about how to protect our workers while embracing innovation. We need balance. America can't thrive if technology gets richer while hardworking Americans get left behind. Let's make sure the future still has a place for the people who built this country in the first place.
God bless America, our workers, our families...and their futures!!

If you missed it, Ambassador Leandro Rizzuto Jr. recently shared a powerful post reflecting on leadership and success. His message is simple: great institutions—and great nations—succeed when they recognize talent, reward excellence, and refuse to accept mediocrity.
Few people have achieved what Lee Rizzuto has while also giving back to America in so many meaningful ways. From helping build CONAIR into a global powerhouse alongside his dad, Lee Rizzuto Sr., to serving our nation as a U.S. ambassador, Lee’s career reflects hard work, excellence, and service.
His forthcoming book, The Building of a Beauty Empire, is highly anticipated, and if these words are any indication, his book will be sensational—like his wife, Denise, their three accomplished daughters, and his remarkable family who helped shape his journey!

We're all hoping for this war to come to an end and for a chance to put our country back together. WE THE PEOPLE cannot continue to absorb rising costs for everyday necessities and basic comforts that many families can no longer afford. From prices at the pump to heating and cooling our homes, to the uncertainty of an erratic stock market, Americans are feeling the strain from every direction.
This is not good for the Midterms, but more importantly, it's not good for the people. When so many families are hurting, it's time for a return to normalcy with a sense of hope. It's been quite a ride for WE THE PEOPLE. Can we please get a lifeline somewhere between inflation and the war?

People lined up to meet, get autographs, and take photos with our very own Trumpster, Fred “The Hammer” Williamson, at the 11th Annual HorrorConUK in Sheffield, England.
Not sure if you can tell, but the characters posing with Fred are completely nude—what looks like costume, is actually body paint!
While Fred’s not really known for horror films, horror fans know Fred best as the cigar-chomping vampire slayer, Frost (one of the coolest characters ever to take on the undead), in the movie From Dusk Till Dawn where he shared the screen with Quentin Tarantino, Harvey Keitel, and George Clooney (who BTW, is a co-founder of my favorite tequila, Casamigos Blanco!).
Fred rushed his way from the NFL into Hollywood, making his debut in Robert Altman’s M*A*S*H before becoming a leading force in classics like Black Caesar, Hell Up in Harlem, Three the Hard Way and Hammer, and then exploded onto the international cult scene with fan favorites like, The Inglorious Bastards and Warriors of the Wasteland.

Happy Birthday to my dear friend, mentor, and favorite legend, DEAN MARTIN, who would’ve been 109 today. I'm blessed to have known this funny, kind, and generous soul who helped launch my career and was always there when I needed him. There will never be another.
Dean was very different offstage and preferred family, friends, and golf over the spotlight. His famous tipsy persona was largely an act as his cocktail glass often contained apple juice. Before he reached stardom and The Rat Pack (bottom left), he worked as a card dealer, bootlegger, and amateur boxer. What I admired most was Dean’s loyalty, professionalism, and ability to make greatness look effortless. Though audiences saw a relaxed entertainer, Dean was incredibly hardworking who mastered the art of timing and delivery.
The breakup of his partnership with Jerry Lewis (bottom right) left him broken-hearted, but nothing compared to the 1987 loss of his son, Dean Paul Martin Jr., in a plane crash. My co-host Ruta Lee and I spent many evenings with Dean at Hamburger Hamlet trying to lift his spirits. Dean’s first wife, Betty McDonald, was the mother of his first four children; his second wife, the stunning Jeanne Biegger (top right), was the love of his life, rock, and mother of three more children. A third marriage to Catherine Hawn lasted only 3 years. Despite fame, Dean was a warm, loving dad, known for prioritizing family dinners, and valued time at home far more than the stage or screen. His fourth love was golf, which explains why he scheduled work around tee times, whenever possible.
One of my favorite memories was joking with Dean about a story that involved gunshots at his house while he was downstairs making a salami sandwich. I lectured him, “Dean, the next time you go for a midnight sandwich, you might consider grabbing a knife...instead of a gun.” Every laugh we shared was momentous.
Dean's career highlights included My Friend Irma, The Caddy, Rio Bravo, the original Ocean's 11, and timeless hits like "That's Amore" and "Everybody Loves Somebody," which famously knocked The Beatles #1 hit “A Hard Day’s Night” from the Billboard Top 100 chart. His talent, warmth, and friendship remain unforgettable. 📷

This is truly beyond belief...vote counting in California is still going—it’s like a Hollywood casting call set up on the 405.
Thousands show up, everyone’s stuck, and the official timeline for WE THE PEOPLE is “Thanks for your patience, we’re still deciding.”
Classic California dysfunction. This is the only state that can turn a 15-minute drive into a two-week cross-country tour, a building permit into a family heirloom, and a standard election into a multi-season suspense thriller. By the time they actually finish counting the ballots, the electorate will be too old to serve, the series is already streaming on Netflix...and CA will still be bankrupt!
Hope you got out to vote to help make California golden again!

One thing is clear, with races this close, Californians don’t care whether solutions come from a lifelong politician, a business leader, a reality-TV personality, or a wand-waving-wizard who lives in a rent-controlled apartment and promises to shorten DMV lines, make a one-bedroom apartment cost less than a small European castle, fix traffic on the 405, and make electric bills comprehendible. CALIFORNIANS JUST WANT CHANGE!
California voters are being bombarded with promises to fix traffic, homelessness, taxes, potholes, and somehow the weather itself, while LA voters are trying to decide who can best tackle the phenomenon of turning a 15-minute errand into a three-hour adventure and why every freeway is somehow “under construction” and “completely finished” at the same time?!?! Not to mention the wildfires, by the time building permits get approved, insurance checks arrive, and construction costs stop rising, LA resident’s great grandkids will be arguing over who gets the rebuilt house.
Hope you got out to vote to make sure these men will advance to the run-off and general elections in November.
Show the rest of the country some mayoral magic and a governor that glitters, PLEASE!

Happy 100th Birthday to the eternal legend, Marilyn Monroe, who was born June 1, 1926. An icon who was taken from us far too soon, yet never truly left. I never got the chance to sit across from her during my Hollywood reporting days, but it would've been an epic sharing of the spotlight.
The bombshell was an avid intellectual, well-read, and held a very high IQ. She co-founded her own production company in 1955 which was unheard of for a woman in that era. Marilyn adopted her signature throaty voice to overcome a severe childhood stutter, and she used an alter ego to travel in disguise to escape the relentless paparazzi wearing dark wigs and sunglasses under the alias, Zelda Zonk. Her beauty was undeniable, but her depth was what made her truly unforgettable.100 years and she’s still an icon. 📷
Turner Classic Movies (TCM) is honoring Marilyn Monroe as the Star of the Month for her centennial. You can catch her films in an extended broadcast event airing on the first three Monday nights in June!!

I interviewed Clint back in the 1970s when I first started working (top, left & center)—a giant legend then. I hear he has a home near me in Belair but we’ve yet to run into each other at the market ;). He has many children with numerous women and is viewed as a strict but loving dad. Clint shifted from often absent in his younger years to a deeply involved, mentoring role later in life.
At 96 years young today, Clint Eastwood remains a Hollywood legend and a force of nature. Long before he squinted his way into cinematic immortality, Eastwood survived a real-life ordeal worthy of a film while serving in the Army. The Navy bomber carrying him ran out of fuel, crashed into the Pacific, and left Eastwood swimming three miles to shore. Before Rawhide (bottom, left with Barbara Eden) and A Fistful of Dollars (top, right) made him a household name, he played jazz piano, studied music in LA, and later composed scores for films like Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby. Eastwood also turned down the role of James Bond because he believed 007 should stay British, and as if acting, directing, composing, and surviving a plane crash weren’t enough, Eastwood also served as mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea from 1986-1988. Born a whopping 11.6 pounds, hospital nurses nicknamed him “Samson,” which should be a title of an Eastwood western.
Happy 96th Birthday to a one-of-a-kind who didn’t just star in American history, he helped write it!

So much admiration for people who started with next to nothing and because of hard work, creativity, and dedication (and of course coming from Brooklyn doesn’t hurt) achieve the American Dream. I’m in such awe and so excited over Ambassador Lee Rizzuto’s upcoming book called “The Building of a Beauty Empire.”
Very few people have achieved, what he’s achieved and at the same time give back to this country in so many ways. I love Lee’s exquisite and beautiful family—his wife, Denise, and three grown daughters. If I put them next to each other, I dare you to tell me which one is the mother. I had great conversations with Lee’s incredible mother. I also knew Lee’s late fathe, Lee Rizzuto Sr. who unfortunately passed way too soon—but what an accomplished incredible human being. It all started with Lee Jr’s grandfather, a thought and a dream, and with the help of Lee and his father, turned CONAIR into a mega billion-dollar company. Lee also went on to become an ambassador with incredible responsibilities for two recent administrations.
I hope I’ve built excitement for Lee’s incredible new book which is not yet out (and won’t be for a few months), but I hope you are eagerly waiting for his book to drop in stores and online. I have my advance copy and I’ll be reading it tonight. Lee’s story, is a great American story, about how the American Dream can really come true with hard work and devotion—and of course, the one ingredient my husband, Bobby, always swears by, “you’ve gotta have a little luck to go with it.”

Enjoyed Cocktail Hour before birthday boy, Michael Treacy, arrived for his surprise 70th, arranged by his beautiful wife, Evelyn.
We mingled on board the yacht that was built in1926 and commutes between New York City and Palm Beach. The chef and crew were beyond fabulous and the 100 guests had the best time—a great mix of people from many walks of life, including the horse world (a passion of mine).
The Treacy’s live in Wellington—the horse capital of South Florida. Evelyn is accomplished and talented—her Chinese New Year party at their home this past January was a most memorable night for me. Evelyn, an award-winning ballroom dancer, has equally interesting and talented friends and family. Casting for this birthday bash was one-of-a-kind!
Evelyn worked on this surprise for her husband, Michael, for over a month. Every detail done to perfection with text updates for guests so we all arrived before Michael—and boy, was he was surprised. We dined on the top deck of the ship with Palm Beach and the glittering night lights as a backdrop. It could not have been prettier, and the lovely breeze was the icing on the cake!
