Despite multiple versions, with everyone from Richard Todd to Kevin Costner, the definitive Robin Hood is still Errol Flynn in 1938's The Adventures of Robin Hood. The whole thing is gorgeous and Basil Rathbone adds the spice as the villain; he was the best fencer in Hollywood.
You need to understand that these people believe they’re saving the PLANET.
