It's a touching moment as Shri @RahulGandhi prepares to contest from Rae Bareli, a seat Smt. Sonia Gandhi has nurtured with her dedication and leadership for many years.
Her enduring legacy in the constituency has been a beacon of progress and hope.
Wishing Shri Rahul Gandhi immense success as he continues this noble journey, carrying forward the torch of service and commitment passed down by Smt. Sonia Gandhi.
Together, may they inspire countless hearts across our nation.
Dear HM @AmitShah avare, thanks for finally expressing outrage in the #PrajwalRevanna matter. You have also said you don’t condone violence against women even if it is done by an ally of yours. One is tempted to believe you, but your conduct in the past has shown that talk is cheap:
Can we forget how Olympian Girls were sexually harassed by your MP? Who did you stand with? Your MP, of course, and you let the women athletes sit in protests on the streets of Delhi for weeks.
Can we forget how rapist convicts of the Bilkis Bano were released on parole by the Gujarat BJP government and your party men garlanded them? It took the Supreme Court to reprimand your party’s state govt.
Can we forget how your party stood behind the perpetrators in the Unnao case, where a minor Dalit girl was raped and murdered?
Can we forget how your party defended the perpetrators of rape in the Hathras case?
Can we forget how the BJP turned a blind eye when women were made to parade naked in Manipur?
Women of the nation know the truth, and it's time for you to wake up to the reality.
After persistent efforts & an appeal to the Supreme Court, we've secured ₹3,498.82 crore in drought relief from the Union Government.
I wish to thank the Hon. Supreme Court. This is perhaps the first time in the history of India that a state was driven to the Supreme Court to get its rights enforced.
It's regrettable that we had to wait since Sept 2023 for a response.
@HMOIndia finally woke up after the Hon. Supreme Court rang the bell.
Finally, some justice has been done to our farmers. However, the sanction is woefully inadequate. We had asked for Rs 18,000 crores and we have got 3498.98 crores!
Thanks to the intervention of the Hon. Supreme Court, the Central Government, which had delayed providing drought relief funds to the farmers of Karnataka, has agreed to make a decision within this week.
Karnataka was forced to file a writ petition against the Central Government in court seeking drought relief funds, as the Central Government had not made a decision on our memorandum, which was submitted in September 2023.
This is a milestone and a success in our long fight to secure justice and relief for the people of Karnataka.
