@PeteVowles@UKinZimbabwe Thank you Pete for celebrating our culture and highlighting the talent, beauty and the excellence of the Zimbabwean people. Wish you well in your next post.
Until public office is stripped of its material attractions public life will majorly attract people whose goals are not service and whose service will more likely bring misery to the people than progress.
She was bold, dramatic, unconventional, and unapologetic in making her voice heard. Whether people agreed with her politics or methods, one thing is undeniable, she was a force to be reckoned with and her impact on Zimbabwe’s political discourse cannot be ignored. RIP @lilomatic
@CMukungunugwa He worked for his money and did not rely on political patronage. He was not a tenderprenuer or convicted thief. Have respect for a Zimbabwean who broke boundaries.
Celebrate succes without giving unnecessary comparisons with someone who cannot defend or speak for themselves!

@bla_bidza People on communal land have no security of tenure. If land is owned for generations, title deeds will protect families from farmer-miner conflicts and reckless relocations, as seen in Hwange and Chiredzi. Don't underestimate political economy & patronage in land governance.

@Sophie_Mokoena@_AfricanUnion@willynyamitwe@BurundinAddis@US_Emb_Burundi AU is simply riding on South Africa’s success without acknowledging that SA paved the way. Africa is not united—the Strait of Hormuz crisis shows this clearly. Instead of buying oil from Nigeria and Angola under AfCFTA, countries are negotiating with Arabs and the USA. Shameful.
