🚔🚒Joining the Unified Fire Authority, TVPD was proud to participate in the Taylorsville High JROTC Army event, where students had the chance to explore careers in military service and public safety. It was a great chance before the end of the school year to get together. 1/2

🚲🛴 E-bikes and scooters are a fun way to get around, especially as more riders head outside for the season. To help everyone enjoy the ride safely, Utah’s new e-rides law is now in effect with updated rules for e-bikes, electric scooters and other electric mobility devices. 1/2

🚴‍♂️💙 Three days on the road turned into added protection for TVPD officers this past month as Shield616 donated nine life-saving vest sets to the department. The vests are rifle-rated and designed to help protect officers during high-velocity threats. 1/3

The donation was made possible through last fall’s bicycle ride from St. Anthony, Idaho, to Salt Lake City completed by Chief Cottam and Officers Haas, Stone and Berg, along with generous community donations. (See photos from both the ride and ceremony). 2/3

🚓 Future careers were on full display at the recent ChamberWest Job Fair at Taylorsville High, and TVPD was excited to be part of it! In all, more than 85 different career paths were represented, offering a chance to connect with professionals from across the valley. 1/2
