Knowing what type of device you are using and where it can legally be ridden is a great place to start. See the attached illustrations and learn more about the new age rules, helmet requirements and vehicle classifications here: https://t.co/aRs9l5SNbx
๐ฒ๐ด E-bikes and scooters are a fun way to get around, especially as more riders head outside for the season. To help everyone enjoy the ride safely, Utahโs new e-rides law is now in effect with updated rules for e-bikes, electric scooters and other electric mobility devices. 1/2
This Memorial Day weekend, we also extend our gratitude and support to the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice every day. From all of us at TVPD, we thank our fallen heroes and honor their legacy! #HonorTheFallen#NeverForget#TVPDUtah

TVPD is incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this important contribution possible. Those who would like to help further the mission can donate at Shield 616 and note that it is for Utah's Taylorsville Police Department: https://t.co/zvnkxSTvAB
๐ดโโ๏ธ๐ Three days on the road turned into added protection for TVPD officers this past month as Shield616 donated nine life-saving vest sets to the department. The vests are rifle-rated and designed to help protect officers during high-velocity threats. 1/3
The donation was made possible through last fallโs bicycle ride from St. Anthony, Idaho, to Salt Lake City completed by Chief Cottam and Officers Haas, Stone and Berg, along with generous community donations. (See photos from both the ride and ceremony). 2/3
